You’ll explore the ancient stadium with a local licensed guide who will bring it to life. Please note: the tour may start at the Colosseum or the Roman Forum/Palatine Hill, depending on the ticket times we are able to purchase.
The Palatine Hill, the most beautiful and important of Rome’s seven hills, is the legendary founding point of the city. Explore the ancient ruins of the imperial palace and enjoy panoramic views over the Roman Forum.
The political, social, and commercial heart of ancient Rome! Walk along the original Roman roads (Via Sacra and Via Nova) and explore temples, arches, and other ruins. Your guide will help reconstruct the Forum’s history and bring the city to life.

We booked our tour too late when Colosseum access tickets were already sold out. Fortunately we found this tour that was done externally without needing entry tickets. Our tour guide Kasia was incredibly informative and pleasant. Our whole group had a great time and didn’t mind that we didn’t get to enter the restricted areas.
The tour of the Colosseum is advertised. Only in the shopping cart or after payment has been made is it pointed out that the tour does not include admission and only takes place outside. I got no answer to my complaint. And then the guide arrived 30 minutes late.
We had an amazing tour with Kopal. She was fun, knowledgeable and kept everybody engaged. Highly recommended.

Ivana, our guide was absolutely awesome. She was thoroughly knowledgeable. She knew the history, dates, kings, emporers, and architecture details. Knowledge flowed from her effortlessly. We were honestly stunned. She brought the tour alive. She included humour. She had visual aids, and even sound bytes from the Gladiator movie. We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. Great tour of the heart of Ancient Rome. Ivana was an excellent guide and provided us with historical info, great view angles for pics and showed us before and after views of when first built and today. Lots of steps and steep in the colosseum so know that up front.

My son and I joined a small group led by Kopal, at the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Forum tour. I cannot praise her enough for her knowledge of subject matter, enthusiasm for her work and above all, patience for the group. She is a credit to the industry and I would encourage her to keep doing what see does and she does it extremely well.
