Amazing tour! Our tour guide Licinio was funny and super welcoming. The whole tour was definitely worth the money since we had two wine tours, a boat ride, and a free lunch. Ferro was also an amazing driver!
Enjoyed the tour. Susana and Franco were excellent.
Castro was great! The bus was on time and the whole experience was great!
The Douro River is absolutely worth the drive. Its beauty is breathtaking, and the history behind it is fascinating, with wine-making traditions that date back over 2,000 years. You can even see the ancient rock walls still in use while driving and during the boat ride. The meeting point was easy to find, clearly marked, and staffed with people checking everyone in. Our driver, George, and our guide, Queber, were absolutely fabulous. While it was a lot to pack into half a day, they did a remarkable job getting us there and back safely. There were plenty of restroom breaks, which is always appreciated, especially since it’s important to stay hydrated. The port house we visited was stunning, and I would definitely go back if given the chance. The tour also included a 45 minute boat ride through small part of the valley. It was beautiful and jaw dropping. The tour was very well organized, informative, and lots of fun. I especially loved the music they played during the bus ride when Queber wasn’t talking; it was all ’80s hits—a real blast from the past!
Quber and George were the best! We had such a great time exploring the region, they made our day so fun! The wine tasting and the boat were excellent. The whole day was 10/10. Thanks both!
George and cuber were amazing!
Great day out. Cuber was very friendly and knowledgeable. It's a long drive in the bus but worth it. The boat trip was the highlight.
Cubet was a terrific tour guide. He was very informative and shared a lot of interesting information about Portugal and the Duoro Valley area. He was also kind and patient. We wanted more information about a neighboring town and he went out of his way explain how to get there and what to do while we are there. We appreciated the extra effort. George was a great driver and we felt safe in his care while traveling some winding roads. Overall, it was a fun tour with beautiful views.
We had a nice half day trip with Slimmy & Gabri. We got a lot of interesting information and good entertainment.
Overall a very beautiful and cool tour, thank you Castro and Gabriel
