Upon arrival in Fátima, one of the world’s most revered pilgrimage sites, you will visit the Sanctuary of Fátima, where history and spirituality come together. From Fátima, we embark on a scenic 40-minute drive to Nazaré, a picturesque coastal town famous for its colossal waves and traditional fishing culture. Marvel at the stunning views of the Atlantic from the Sítio cliffs, stroll through the charming streets, and immerse yourself in the local maritime heritage. If you’re lucky, witness daring surfers ride some of the largest waves on the planet. Nazaré will also be our lunch stop, where we will recommend some of the best restaurants in the area, known for their fresh seafood and traditional Portuguese cuisine. A fabulous day, goes by quickly and our host/driver Diogo was charming, funny and full of knowledge about many regions of portugal. He gave great recommendations for lunch which was also fabulous. We wanted to go to Nazaré and had heard about Fatima and Óbidos, obviously a great choice since all places are great! The cherry on top of the cake was Firat, always cheerful and talkative that told us all about each place and the country in general! 10/10
