It is one of the most significant sites of the 20th century, where in 1917 the Virgin Mary appeared to the three shepherd children and the crowd, come visit this place which dates back to the times the pilgrims arrived on this peninsula. Built after the famous battle of Aljubarrota, the beauty of the Batalha's Monastery will be your next sight while continuing through beautiful natural landscapes on your way to Nazaré. Looking for the biggest waves in the world you will walk through this old fishing town where the world's first statue of Saint Mary is located. Finishing the tour you will walk in the fortified city of Óbidos through the cooblestone streets to the imposing hilltop castle. Be amazed admiring the landscapeof the surrounding countryside from the top.

We did not participate in the tour because the tour operator stated that they had not received the booking. After more than 1 hour of waiting and trying to contact by phone, we manage to talk to the tour operator. As the only solution to their lack, he proposes to carry out the same tour but privately with a surcharge of €100. We accept because it is our last day in Lisbon and given the time it is also the only way not to waste the day altogether, but basically we had to pay for their mistake. In all this I asked for a refund of the difference of €100 that I had to incur from Viator who refunded me only about 25% of this amount without giving me any explanation. I would also add that the tour we did was done with a driver, not a guide, which is a totally different service.

We picked our own places to go and they were very informative. We took a lot of pictures. They even went far & beyond helping us when they found out that we needed to go to the airport, Angela helped us to get our luggage that the airline misplaced. We are highly recommended this company!
