The Church of the Most Holy Miracle, located in the charming city of Santarém (85 km from Lisbon), houses one of the oldest Eucharistic relics in the world, dating back to the 13th century. This miracle is a profound symbol of faith for Catholics, making this place an unparalleled spiritual destination in Portugal. In an atmosphere steeped in history and devotion, visitors can get up close and personal with the relic of the Eucharistic miracle, which has inspired millions for centuries. This private tour, departing from Lisbon, combines a visit to the Church of the Most Holy Miracle with a pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Fatima, offering a unique and spiritual experience, with time to attend the 11 AM Mass at the Shrine of Fatima.
Located 60 km from Santarém, Fátima offers pilgrims the chance to spend a peaceful day with time to attend the 11 AM Mass, visit the places and monuments linked to Our Lady's Apparitions, have lunch, buy religious items for their family and friends and, in the late afternoon, return to Lisbon. The journey from Santarém to the Sanctuary of Fátima takes approximately 60 minutes.
Chapel of the Apparitions Built in response to Our Lady's request “I want you to make here a chapel”. Our Lady appeared full of light and spoke here to the Little Shepherds in May, June, July, September and October 1917.
The three Little Shepherds were on May 13 1917 in this place playing at the top of the of Cova de Iria's hillside making a "small wall" and "suddenly saw what seemed to be a flash of lightning". Years later the Basilica was built (between 1928 and 1953). See the tombs of the three Little Shepherds inside the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary. You will have the chance to get close to them.
In 1973, the intention arose to build a new church in the Sanctuary of Fatima. The first stone was laid in 2004. It was inaugurated on October 12, 2007, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Apparitions. The whole church is white in color, covered with stone from the region: Branco do Mar (White from the Sea). The Basilica has a total of 8,633 seats, including 76 for people with limited mobility. Its construction was paid completely with donations from pilgrims. Attend the 11 o'clock mass. Depending on the day and the season the mass may be celebrated in the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima or in the square of the Sanctuary.
The fourth apparition (August 19, 1917) occurred in this place. Here, Our Lady met with the three Little Shepherds again after they failed to meet on the 13th because they were taken to Ourém for interrogation and prevented from going to Cova de Iria.
In the Spring and Autumn of 1916, the three Little Shepherds were surprised by the presence of the Angel of Peace, in this place. When he reached them, he said: - Don't be afraid! I am the Angel of Peace. Pray with me.
Still in Aljustrel, the village where the three seers were born, lived and from where they guided their flock of sheeps to Cova de Iria, you will visit the house from Sister Lucia.
Over this well, many times did the Little Shepherds sat, talking, playing and praying. Here, on a summer day, the second Apparition of the Angel of Peace took place, in 1916. When he found them he asked, “What are you doing? Pray, pray a lot."
ll visit the house from Saint Francisco and Saint Jacinta, which is open for visits by pilgrims and did not undergo any significant transformation after the Apparitions.
It was a great day and it is time to return to your hotel in Lisbon. We hope to see you again soon on another visit in Portugal. You will be able to choose a Drop-off location different from the Pick-up one, provided it is in Lisbon. See you soon!

Dear Ana, Thank you very much for your kind words. It was a pleasure to guide you through Fátima and the surrounding sites. I’m glad you enjoyed the experience. All the best, and I hope to welcome you again in Portugal. Pedro
It was a wonderful experience. We visited all the significant sites of Fatima with a guide who was able to navigate the area well and was knowledgeable about the places we visited. He communicated with us well to make sure he adjusted the tour to honor what we found most important. The visit to Santarem on the way to see the Eucharistic Miracle was a brief but very impactful part of our day. Our guide got us to all the stops in our plan, but we never felt rushed and even had time to shop for mementos and have a snack.
