From Lisbon: Family Winery Tour, Historic Cellars & Wine Tasting

We were at the vineyard quinta da bacalhoa and the budha edden garden, we liked it very much... we spent an afternoon there. Next to Óbidos and Peniche...

A beautiful winery, operated by a family which creates a nice family atmosphere. The tasting afterwards does not disappoint either! Highly recommended!

Fascinating tour of the lovely Quinta do Sanguinhal. Anna, the great granddaughter of the founder was not only very interesting about wine production but we were captivated by her enthusiasm and knowledge for the family business. The wines we tasted were varied and most enjoyable. Delicious Pastel de Nata. We were all very grateful for the blankets and T shirts following a huge cloudburst that soaked us all while inspecting the vines. Thank you Anna and we wish you much success.

Very interesting history of the winery and products that they make. Tried two whites, two reds, and two unique fortified wines. All were excellent.

A must do experience!!! Great tour and tasting. I went with a group--all of us loved the tour!! Beautiful old winery--scenery was perfect!!! Learned alot about the wine making process.
