Your tour guide will meet you at historic Piazza Campo de' Fiori and take you first to the local market and then to a typical Roman norcineria, where you will sample the traditional specialities such as the finest cheeses and salumi, produced by Italian farmers. After that, you will taste a popular local street food "supplì", while enjoying a nice walk.
Explore the Jewish ghetto of Rome, the oldest Jewish community in Europe. After a historical overview about the theatre of Pompey, the Portico of Ottavia and the fountain of turtles, you will stop for a carciofo alla giudia, a roman-jewish fried artichoke.
Discover the beautiful architecture of the temple of Apollo Sosianus and after that you will stop for a slice of home-made pizza.
Walk around the sacred area with Republican Temples and the place were Julius Caesar was assassinated .
Your Roman street food tour will end with one of the most emblematic landmarks in historic city centre, the Pantheon. You will finish your gastronomic experience with a great artisanal gelato.
