Start your experience by meeting your host or, if included, your expert tour guide, who will provide your skip-the-line tickets and help you access the Vatican Museums. For guided options, headsets are included for clear commentary as you explore some of the museum’s most celebrated highlights, from the Pinecone Courtyard to the Pio-Clementino Museum and the stunning Vatican Galleries. Your guide will bring the collections to life with stories and insights along the way. If you select the ticket-only option, your host will escort you to the entrance and you will then visit the museums independently.

IF OPTION SELECTED: Your experience culminates at St. Peter’s Basilica, a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture. From the Sistine Chapel, your guide will lead you through a reserved fast-track entrance to the church, avoiding the usual long lines. Inside, marvel at Michelangelo’s exquisite Pietà, Bernini’s grand Baldacchino, and the awe-inspiring dome. Should the basilica be closed, your tour will include an extended exploration of the Vatican Museums instead.

- Please be aware that access to the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica is subject to Vatican regulations and ceremonies. The Vatican Museums or the Basilica may decide to close these sites on short notice due to official events or religious proceedings. In the event of any unexpected developments, we are unable to foresee or control these closures in advance. However, your ticket will still grant you access to the Vatican Museums.
- Visitors holding a disability card with more than 75% are entitled to free entrance and do not need to purchase a ticket.
- The tour involves climbing stairs. There is no elevator access in several areas of the Vatican Museums. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
- Strollers are allowed inside the Vatican Museums, however please be aware that most areas have stairs and limited elevator access. If the Basilica option is selected, strollers must be folded and carried through the entrance. It is not possible to join the tour with a stroller unless it is foldable.
- Wheelchairs and mobility aids cannot be used to access St. Peter's Basilica via the Sistine Chapel exit, due to security regulations. For this reason, travelers using wheelchairs are unable to join the group tour, as they are required to follow a separate accessible route that avoids stairs. We recommend contacting us before booking for further assistance.
- Photography is not permitted inside the Sistine Chapel.
- Knees and shoulders must be covered to enter during your visit.
- During high season, a mandatory security check to access the museums may require a wait of up to 30 minutes.
- We're sorry, but late arrivals may not be able to join the guided tour due Museum regulations
- Basilica access is permitted only with the guide, and the priority cannot be use independently as it is included through a shared group reservation

Would definitely recommend this tour, especially if you have Julia. She was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable, personable, and engaging. We saw a lot, learned a lot, and had fun doing it.
First of all, you need to know that you can’t go into the Sistine chapel unless you are fully covered, shoulders and knees. Nowhere on my ticket or when I signed up, did it tell me that. Additionally, my tour leader, did not properly inform us that we did not need to pay for covering, and could instead borrow the sheets that they offer at the entrance. Finally, while my tour guide was nice, she did not speak English very clearly, and with all the crowds, I could not understand a single word she said.
Overall a satisfying experience. The tour started a bit late, but the guide made up for it later. The guide was very knowledgeable and took us through all the places comfortably. It is a long tour for a hot summer time, so elders may want to keep that in mind:
