I had a great time on my tour with Behlül! He was prompt in meeting me at the location, & since I was the only person who signed up, it turned into a private tour! I don’t think a guide is needed for this part of Istanbul. A little bit of research before and you can discover on your own.
Dear Guest, Thank you for the honest feedback! While the area can certainly be explored independently, our guides bring historical context, hidden stories and insider knowledge that often transforms the experience beyond what research alone can offer. We hope to have the chance to show you that added value someday! Kind regards 🧿 Tourmania Team

The walking tour turned out to be an exceptionally engaging and enriching experience from start to finish. What stood out immediately was how thoughtfully the entire walk was structured—it never felt rushed, yet we managed to cover an impressive amount of ground, both physically and intellectually. Every stop along the way revealed something new and unexpected, making even familiar surroundings feel fresh and full of hidden stories. A huge part of what made this tour so memorable was the guide. His depth of knowledge was truly remarkable, and it was clear that he wasn’t just reciting memorized facts but genuinely understood and cared about the history, culture, and context of everything he shared. He had an incredible ability to connect different ideas and weave them into a narrative that was both informative and easy to follow. Whether he was explaining historical events, pointing out subtle architectural details, or sharing lesser-known anecdotes, everything was delivered with clarity and enthusiasm. What I appreciated most was how he encouraged curiosity. Questions were always welcomed, and his answers were thoughtful and often went beyond the basics, adding even more depth to the experience. You could tell he had spent years building his expertise, and that passion translated into a tour that felt personal rather than generic. Overall, the walk was not just interesting—it was genuinely captivating. It struck a perfect balance between education and enjoyment, leaving me with a much deeper appreciation of the area and its history. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for more than just a casual stroll; it’s an experience that stays with you long after it’s over.
Great experience! Friendly guide. Enjoyed it. Perfect morning activity to do in Istanbul!
