Fat Taxi is a private transportation company, specialising in airport transfers. Through our honest, traveller-friendly and customer-centric service, we aim at raising the standards in private transportation, providing premium quality service at unbeatable rates. We work with a number of accredited and experienced drivers with excellent knowledge of the city. All our drivers speak English and have been trained in accordance with local government regulations of COVID-19 related precautions. All our vehicles are considered premium, are cleaned on a daily basis and disinfected before and after every new journey. You can cancel or amend your trip at no cost, up to 6 hours prior to your booked time of journey. In case your flight was cancelled or delayed, we will amend your booking at no cost, even outside of the 6-hour notice timeframe.

Pickup Locations & Times
We will pick you up at the pick-up point of the airport on the agreed time and date. upon your arrival, One of our greeters will be waiting for you at the arrivals gate inside the terminal. Your driver will be waiting at the transportation floor (-2). Our greeter will help you with your luggage and also introduce you to your driver who will take you to your destination. Our drivers already know the destination address, so you don’t need to worry about explaining the route. The driver will reconfirm your destination before you start your journey from the airport. All our vehicles are equipped with complimentary water bottles, air-conditioning and free wifi. Once you arrive at your destination, our driver will help you with your luggage and will wish you a nice stay.

After exiting baggage claim area, we searched endlessly for a greeter as our instructions saile After exiting the baggage claim area, we began searching for a greeter holding a Fat Taxi sign or a sign with our name on it. We never found such a greeter and he never found us. After a futile 30 minute search, we were forced to hire another taxi. I have apparently forfeited the money already paid to Viator and I shall be demanding a refund.
Nobody was there to meet me and nobody answered the viator message, WhatsApp or the phone. Ultimately I just used a regular taxi after waiting for over an hour.

Very correct instructions to find the collection point at gate 14 ( PS there is a bank of ATMS at that door … Zadaat didn’t charge me a fee for using it..others did some didn’t - just make sure you do NOT accept any banks offer of a conversion fee at 8%! Standard is 3%). It was a little hard getting attention of the PLUS person, just stand in front of the board and keep saying PLUS out loud - maybe they just thought I was with a man standing next to me? Anyway once established I was with Fat taxi it was easy follow them to the mega car park with a bunch of others and we all got our cars. Big vans with the plush seats and water bottle and fun roof lights. A nice drive in. After that I just what’s app the manager SINAN for my various requests at cheaper prices but always good to have access to a trip advisor review at the end just in case. Anyway , excellent reliable good cars seems a good price to me for a long 35-40 min drive in not busy time ( probably more if you in old town I was ion Bosphorus). I’ve already recommended to friends going in a few weeks
We were never picked up and had to use alternate transportation. The original directions to meet him were confusing. Instead of meeting us at the exit, he directed in an previous email to meet him at an alternative location. We tried on multiple attempts to contact him, but the number he provided us on whats app but could only get an answering machine. We repeatedly left a message with our phone number and ultimately he responded one hour later after we have already obtained alternate transportation
Everything seemed fine. We received confirmation of booking prior to our trip and the location to find our drivers upon arrival. There was no driver and no communication of why through email or phone. Luckily we met some very helpful people at the airport, a security guard and a taxi driver (who we ended up hiring to drive us to our hotel) that both used there own phones to call the number we had for the company. Both attempts went straight to voicemail. We come to find out the company was likely closed due to religious holiday. This was never communicated to us at booking or otherwise that they were closed, but they did charge the credit card when I booked. Save some time and money and take a taxi, or at least take out some question marks and hire a different company.
Please make sure you have Internet access after you have landed as they contact you by WhatsApp. After your booking is made make contact with them. They will guide you to the meeting point outside. Do not expect anyone to be standing there with a plaquered with your name on. The two drivers we had didn't speak much English. Overall, good service
I can only say that the experience was terrible because the person who was going to transfer me to the hotel never showed up. I waited and searched for him for two hours without success. I had to pay for another transfer at my own expense. I dialed the phone number on the page and it doesn't exist. Two local people dialed and there is no such number. Fatal!
Great service and excellent communication. Gave good direction at the terminal and didn’t wait long.
