- The tour is tailored for 6 + years old kids. Younger kids are welcome to join of course but keep in mind that they may be not fully engaged.
- READ CAREFULLY: Because of the growing popularity of the current pope and his intense activity in organising mass events in the Vatican some areas might get closed last minute without previous notice. This has already happened this year and can happen again during you Vatican tour: the Sistine chapel and/or the Basilica of Saint Peter might not be accessible. In case of such events our tour guide will provide you with a valuable alternative focusing the tour inside the Vatican museums.

Absolutely Amazing Vatican Tour with Francesco! We had the most incredible private tour of Vatican City and the Sistine Chapel today with Francesco from Rome, and we cannot recommend him enough! From start to finish, he was friendly, personable, and extremely knowledgeable, making the entire experience unforgettable. Despite the fact that we arrived 30 minutes late, Francesco was incredibly patient and understanding, ensuring we still made it in just in time for our entrance. His expertise and passion for the history, art, and hidden details of the Vatican made the tour so much more meaningful than if we had explored on our own. He was not only a fantastic guide but also a genuinely pleasant and warm person to spend the day with. We learned so much, asked a ton of questions, and he always had the perfect answer, adding fascinating details and insights we would have never known otherwise. This was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Tomaso, was amazing. He was so friendly and informative. He helped us navigate the crowds and we were able to bypass the lines. The Sistine Chapel is a must see. Tomaso was very knowledgeable and made our tour fun. We choose this tour because it was listed as family friendly. We were a family of 10 travelling with two children (3 & 4). It did not disappoint! Tomaso was patient and made sure we didn't miss anything.

We loved touring the Vatican! It was so amazing and overwhelming at times but our tour guide made it a wonderful experience for our family. Our boys stayed engaged from beginning to end. It is a busy place but we worth the crowds. The museums were a great way to ease into the day with things building from there. The Sistine Chapel was amazing and I was grateful that they don't allow photography because it forces you to take it in and not focus on taking pics (which won't do it justice anyway to why bother). Our guide gave the boys things to look for in the Chapel so that kept them busy. And St. Peter's Basilica was overwhelming in size and detail. Definitely something anyone going to Rome needs to do at least once.
Our your guide Amber was knowledgeable, engaging, kind, and gracious. We were traveling with two children and my toddler had a meltdown in the the museum. She did all she can to make sure we had what we needed so the kids would be comfortable and engaged. The place was an absolute zoo and it was terribly hot…
Sarah was amazing. She engaged since the very beginning and during the whole tour, with my 9 & 6 year old boys. She was also very knowledgeable and considerate of their ages asking questions and teaching them history and fun facts as if they were playing. Sarah met us at the museum door at exactly the correct time and led us through a 4 hour private tour. She was extremely knowledgeable with respects to the art and history, and did an excellent job af explaining the various sections of the Vatican and St. Peter’s. We had a group of 4 adults and we all give her an excellent rating
Our tour guide was Claudia. She was very kind and informative. She kept the adults and children (ages 3 and 10) all interested and actively involved in the tour.
This tour was the HIGHLIGHT of our entire visit to Rome. The tour guide was an art historian who was extremely knowledgeable and had many fun facts for my children, (ages 8 and 10) that kept them actively engaged and curious!!! Our entire family learned so much from her and left so happy with our experience. We did the semi private option, but ended up with the tour guide all to ourselves. It seems like it’s a little pricey, but it was worth every penny, honest! I would do it again in a heartbeat 🏛🇮🇹
