The Vatican is an independent city-state located within Rome, serving as the spiritual and administrative center of the Roman Catholic Church. It is home to the Pope and iconic sites such as St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel. As the smallest state in the world, it holds immense religious and cultural significance.
(OPTIONAL) The Janiculum Fountain is one of Rome's most evocative viewpoints, immortalized in the opening scene of "The Great Beauty". From here your gaze embraces the entire Eternal City in a breathtaking view.
In the heart of Trastevere, the Peroni Store celebrates the historic Italian beer founded in 1846. A space where tradition and design meet, perfect for a short stop combining shopping with the story of an iconic Made in Italy brand.
The Mouth of Truth is one of Rome's most famous legends, carved in the marble of the church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin. Made famous by the film "Roman Holiday", it continues to fascinate visitors from all over the world.
(OPZIONALE) The Aventine Keyhole is one of Rome's most fascinating secrets: through the keyhole of the Knights of Malta's door you can glimpse St. Peter's dome perfectly framed. A magical and surprising view.
The Circus Maximus was an ancient Roman chariot-racing stadium and mass entertainment venue located in the valley between the Palatine and Aventine hills in Rome. It was the largest stadium in ancient Rome, capable of holding up to 250,000 spectators. The site was primarily used for chariot races, public games, and festivals, and remains a significant historical landmark, although only traces of the original structure survive today.
The Colosseum, also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, is a massive ancient arena in Rome, built between 70-80 AD under the Flavian emperors. It could hold up to 50,000 spectators and was primarily used for gladiatorial contests, public spectacles, and other forms of entertainment. Today, it stands as one of the most iconic symbols of Roman engineering and culture, attracting millions of visitors annually.
Piazza Venezia, at the heart of Rome, boasts the iconic Altare della Patria. This grand square pulsates with history, offering a striking blend of ancient and modern architecture. The imposing Vittoriano monument dominates, symbolizing Italy's unity. Surrounded by historic structures like Palazzo Venezia, it serves as a vibrant hub, connecting the city's past with its present. Our guide David showed us more on our three hour tour than we could ever see in a week. His knowledge and way around the traffic to get us into the best spots for photos and scenery is the best. On our European holiday we did many tours but this one was by far the best
Robin and Alex provider an excellent experience. They highly lighted the many historical sites of Rome with their historical significance so we could understand. They provided many great photo ops that we enjoyed. Highly recommend this tour in Rome.
Dino was an incredible guide. He customized our tour around sights that we wanted to see and then provided recommendations of places that we had not heard of. He provided historical facts about the stops we made and helped us to have a better understanding of the city. Definitely something you don’t want to miss.
It was a great way to see main things in Rome, a golf cart really zips around perfectly in this crazy traffic. Alessandro was so nice and knowledgeable, his English very clear and gave us all kinds of cool little tidbits of information that we otherwise wouldn’t have known.
Great casual ride around the city with an excellent guide. Enjoyed this tour a lot - Luk was his first name I think. I’m better with numbers, he is 35.
Robin was a great guide, very knowledgeable and showed us all the great sites!! As a family it was a great excursion, saved many steps, and saw Rome in a day. Great for travelling family’s
5 stars for the guide Andy. 0 stars for the company. Overpriced. We paid €160. We booked a E-Tuk Tour, but they came up with a Golf Cart (could be booked for €144). They send you multiple emails, messages before the tour, but do not inform you about this change (with option to rebook). After the first stop my seatbelt was broken and my wife and I could not sit together for the rest of the ride.
Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your positive comments regarding your guide. However, we would like to clarify that vehicle substitutions may occasionally be necessary for operational, safety, or logistical reasons. When this occurs, the objective remains to deliver the booked experience without cancellation whenever possible. Your review also confirms that the tour was completed and that the principal concern relates to the vehicle type used and a seatbelt issue that arose during the activity. We respectfully disagree with the characterization of the experience as "0 stars for the company," particularly given that the tour was conducted and that you rated the guide very positively. Kind regards, Luxurbe Team
Our tour guide Robin was super knowledgeable and very flexible. He spoke several languages fluently and was very pleasant and accommodating
