Arriving in the Douro Valley, pass through Régua and get ready to take the N222, it was considered the best road to drive due to its landscape, and see for yourself. Stop at a Winery. Pass through Pinhão. After a day of wine, gastronomic experiences and breathtaking views, relax in the vehicle and the driver will take care of your journey back to Lisbon.

Trip from Lisbon to the Douro Valley. Along the way you will enjoy the landscape of the valleys with the Douro River. The Douro Valley is a picturesque region crossed by one of the longest rivers of the Iberian Peninsula, which reaches the ocean after an impressive series of jumps and bends. It is a land at the same time hard and romantic, a fascinating destination that lends itself to be explored by boat, train or car.

We had the most amazing guide, Lawrence Klein . He was very knowledgeable and showed us the best parts of Portugal. Lawrence had our days scheduled with the most amazing experiences and explained the history behind each location. Not only was Lawrence a fantastic guide but he is very kind and funny. Excellent tour and the most organized tour company we’ve encountered in Portugal. Lawrence Klein is an outstanding guide in every way. One of the most amazing experiences of my life! From the beginning to the end, the tour was worth a lot, Ana was so wonderful, always asking and kind, the attractions were very well done and we absorbed the maximum of the experience, I strongly recommend to those who want to know the Douro vineyard and a typical meal in Pinhão, as well as breathtaking views and leave the warm heart with the beauty of this country.

What an incredible day! The tastings , the lunch & the boat ride filled the whole day with delights for the belly & eyes. Our van driver/guide Ricardo was a treat to be with and facilitated a perfect day for our group. Also, was super helpful with questions we had about the rest of our time in Portugal!! I would really recommend visiting the Douro Valley with a small group to enjoy the tranquillity and the beauty of the landscape. Ricardo is a perfect host, very knowledgeable of the area and has prepared a nice selection for the Porto wine, Douro wines and Olive oil tasting options.
