Kick off your adventure in Lisbon with a hotel pickup by car and embark on a coastal day trip. See the most iconic areas of the Algarve region including the Benagil Cave, Algar de Benagil, Benagil Beach, Marinha Beach, Carvoeiro, Portimão, and Lagos, the southernmost part of Portugal.
Head to your first destination, Benagil – The Algarve’s Natural Wonder. Arrive at the coastal village of Benagil, home to two of the region’s most iconic sights: the world-famous Benagil Cave (Algar de Benagil) & the picturesque Benagil Beach - the golden sands of this charming cove, framed by dramatic cliffs & turquoise waters. It’s a perfect spot for sunbathing, a short swim, or capturing postcard-worthy photos.
As you explore the Benagil Cave. While venturing inside is no longer possible (you can opt for a boat ride at extra cost under good sea conditions), be led to a jaw-dropping viewpoint from which you can gaze in awe at the colossal sea cavern which is known for the opening in its top where light streams thorugh. Land View of Benagil Cave: Take a short walk from the parking area to a cliff-top viewpoint overlooking the cave’s iconic skylight. Sea View of Benagil Cave: Choose the optional boat tour (extra cost) for an up-close view of Benagil Cave’s stunning interior from the sea. Note: Kayaking is discouraged due to safety concerns, as heavy boat traffic creates waves and challenging conditions—even for experienced kayakers. We recommend the boat tour to Benagil Cave. Tours range from 30 to 120 minutes. Prices - depending on the duration & route you choose. Your guide will assist with arrangements.

See Boneca Cave which is often referred to as "The Doll's Cave," a captivating sea cave situated within the Algar Seco area. Portimão / Carvoeiro / Lagos: Lunch & Free Time - Relax and explore at your own pace. Enjoy marina views, charming streets & delicious fresh seafood.
Optional: Benagil Cave Boat Tour from Portimão. We recommend this scenic 90-minute boat tour, which offers breathtaking views of the Algarve coastline. Highlights include dramatic cliffs, sea arches, hidden beaches, landmarks such as the Fort of Santa Catarina, over 10 stunning caves, and the famous Benagil Cave. Tours depart from Portimão Marina, with prices ranging from €20 to €35 per person, depending on the season. Please note that boat tour tickets are not included in the base price. If you select the “With Boat Tour To Benagil Cave” option, the tour is covered, but participation is weather and ability dependent. We suggest choosing the regular option to book this tour; on the morning of your tour, your guide will assess sea conditions and determine if the tour is suitable. Continue to Lagos: Lunch & Leisure. Relax and explore at your own pace in Lagos. Stroll through charming streets, enjoy stunning marina views, and savor fresh, delicious seafood. Lunch Experience: Depending on your tour start time and boat tour schedule, lunch will be served in either Carvoeiro or Portimão, giving you a delightful taste of the region as part of your day.
After lunch, visit Praia Dona Ana, renowned for its dramatic cliffs and crystal-clear waters. Perfect for exploring coastal formations, strolling along golden sands, or simply soaking in the serene natural beauty.
Take a scenic 680-meter walk from Praia Dona Ana to Praia do Camilo, where the journey itself is as captivating as the destination. Along the way, explore the breathtaking Seven Hanging Valleys, with wooden walkways meandering along dramatic cliffs and leading to golden sandy coves. The area offers stunning vistas of the turquoise ocean, making it perfect for photography, leisurely strolls, and fully immersing yourself in the natural beauty of the Algarve coast.

We had an amazing day trip from Lisbon to the Algarve. We visited the stunning Benagil Cave and Algar Seco, enjoyed breathtaking coastal scenery, beautiful beaches, and crystal-clear waters. The boat ride from Portimão to Benagil Cave was a highlight of the tour and offered spectacular views of the coastline. We also had a delicious lunch in Lagos, where we enjoyed fresh local fish and excellent food. Throughout the trip, everything was well organized. A special thanks to our guide, Nayem, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The vehicle was very clean, comfortable, and made the journey enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Portugal and looking to experience the beauty of the Algarve!

Nayem was a great tour guide. He got us safe to our multiple destinations. He was very friendly. He spoke good English. My daughter and I booked the tour with the boat ride, however it best to let Mr. Nayem book it just in case the weather is bad. He took pictures for us. He made our restaurant reservation for us
I had a great day touring with Nahem. Everything from pickup to lunch and back was a breeze. We were allowed to customize the tour as our group as fit maximizing our fun in the time out of the city.

Nayem was our tour guide today. We did the tour with a Boat ride tour of the caves. It was a nice day trip. Use your time to sleep on the way to the destination and back. Lunch in Lagos at Luca Rooftop Bar. It was a good trip got to see a lot in the day. Comfortable car. Would recommend.
