Total scammers, avoid this company at all costs. We booked the Colosseum Underground All Access tour with this company but found out at the Colosseum that they didn’t have the permission to sell these tickets. They were notified a month prior to our visit that the tickets were cancelled but never informed us. Now we’re left trying to get a refund.
The event was well organized and we had an excellent tour guide. The colosseum was breathtaking. We took the 1 and a 1/2 hour tour guide on May 1, 2026 at 9:00 AM. The weather was amazing and the tour length was perfect.
DO NOT BOOK Terrible company. I tried to cancel my tour before the cut off time on get your guide and it kept failing getting an error message. I contacted the company and by the time they got back to me it was past the 24 hour cut off timeframe. Refused to reschedule the tour despite having availability on the website and refused to refund me. Were extremely rude, not even providing a credit note. If anything goes wrong they already have your money, unless you book the day prior wouldn't pick this provider if something happens to your travel plans. Pick someone better.
It was very exciting to be able to see the entire Colosseum and to learn the history of each level, and how they used it. Our tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable, and easy to understand. Highly recommend this tour!

This tour was much too expensive for what it was. I would definitely not suggest. Also, it is misleading as you it says in description option to tour underground but there is no option and that just means if you buy tickets yourself. The pictures of the tour are all of the underground to make you think that’s what you are buying. The tour guide spoke for prob 30 min total and then said he wasn’t taking us upstairs. Also, the person who meets to give tickets is incredibly rude and not helpful. The original description says to be there 30 min early but the email you get the day before which is what we followed does not have this information. Anyway, steer clear of this tour.
The company giving the tour is not “How Is Italy”… tickets were with another company called “Ultimate Italy.” I would give one star except for the fact that our tour guide, Marina, was fantastic. She made up for the fact that our tour was booked incorrectly and the meeting point was across the street from the address mentioned in my confirmation. Don’t bother trying to call “How is Italy,” because there is no phone number and they do not respond to the contact messaging offered through Viator. We booked a tour of the arena floor and underground, and wound up with a full tour of the Colosseum, not including underground. My boys were excited to see the underground, and we didn’t have access to it, because I was given a different ticket. Again, our tour guide with the ACTUAL tour company was great… skip this company and check out Ultimate Italy.
