Our tour guide (I believe her name was Laura) was super knowledgeable, and she was able to answer all our questions. We learned a lot and had an excellent time. Great tour!
I would definitely not recommend as the tour provider did not wait for one minute after the meet time. Also beware the entry ticket will be extra to the price of the tour. Also she will ask you to reschedule after you have paid her for the tour which btw is not refundable. Personally I would not use this company. Feels like I have been scammed to be fair!
Dear Mrs Kare, Since you told us you didn't realize that the entrance ticket was not included and you didn't purchased the ticket on your own, we told you we could book it on your behalf and you would have refund us at the meeting point. You never replied and we decided to book your tickets to be sure you could have your service. I think this was a kindness since we are obligated to provide you only with the service you booked. We have been kind offering you to upgrade free of charge your booking with a guided tour to the Colosseum arena that was available at a different start time. You thought we were rescheduling your tour but it never happened....Since you seemed very rigid regarding the start time we confirmed the tour at 11am, as you booked, with the regular entrance ticket we had. Kinly note that 11am you booked is the start time and entrance time to the Colosseum. After that time the ticket expires and cannot be used, changed or canceled anymore. That's why online find the information asking to be at the meeting point 10 minutes before. You didn't book a private tour and we must grant the entrance and the guided tour to other customer that day. I am very sorry that we went above and beyond and you didn't appreciate and you thought we were scam you.... Please next time try to understand that we are not interested on scam you for few euros...
The colosseum tour with the guide Lumi from crown tours was great. She is really smart and thanks to her we had a lot of fun and also learned interesting information about history of Rome. Really made our day. We do not regret our choice.
It's hard to review the individual companies since they seem to operate under multiple names and divert you to a side-street pick-up office. This said, paying to skip the line and be shown around is well worth the money and if you're in Rome for the first time then the Colosseum is essential. Our guide was good, he found the shady spots and gave us some interesting detail. If I could find the right listing (Italy Wonders?) to review I'd do a better job of it.
