The Via Sacra, or "Sacred Road," was the main street of ancient Rome, running through the Roman Forum. It was a significant thoroughfare for religious and triumphal processions, connecting key temples and public spaces. Starting at the Capitoline Hill, it passed by important landmarks such as the Arch of Titus and the Temple of Vesta. The Via Sacra was central to public life in ancient Rome, serving as a path for ceremonies and a bustling hub of activity. Today, it remains a notable archaeological site, reflecting the grandeur of Rome's past. Walk on it as you leave the Colosseum to reach the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill

I did the tour with the audio guide, unfortunately the guide required a large download that never went through for me. Despite this, it was well worth seeing!
Giorgiannio was an amazing guide with great depth in knowledge of the Colosseum, history and Roman culture. He also made it a point to include and get to know everyone in our group. 100% recommend!
The guided tour was amazing & a memorable part of our time in Rome. Fabian’s knowledge and personable nature brought the tour to life. We had a great day even in the heat, bringing back so many fun facts about the ancient sites. Thank you again Fabian for your enthusiasm and wisdom!
Our contact, who gave us our tickets and led us into the Colosseum, was great, and we had no problems gaining entry. The audio guide was helpful, but didn't always make sense in relation to the area they were meant to describe. The self-guided tour was perfect for our family, as we had a person with limited mobility, and she was able to take a lot of breaks.
Our tour Guide Maria Luisa was friendly, experienced with so much knowledge. The 3.5 hours of the guided tour was amazing and something we will never to forget.
Wonderful tour with Maria-Louisa … so knowledgeable, empathetic and engaging . Thank you for a very enjoyable experience looking after the needs of a variety of client groups ( young, old & in-betweens !! ) : Graica
Maria Luisa kept the tour going. She was well informed on the topic.
It was done in a very professional but yet personal way. They were on time and consistent of the groups need, during the heat, water breaks, fatigue from walking and climbing stairs. She didn’t just blow through the tour without considering the humans needs of everyone.
Great tour with Emanuela as tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable and made the history come alive with a great sense of humour. The tour was well organised and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
Hisam was extremely knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged while also giving us time to take in the details and history behind the colosseum.
