The worst tour ever. Nothing like they described. They explained it was adapted for kids and it wasn’t. The tour guide didn’t even speak the language we selected. We didn’t understand anything. Expensive. And bad.
Our tour guide Valentina was the best! Our girls learned a lot. Highly recommend this tour for families with young kids.
Thank you for highly praising Valentina and our Kids friendly colosseum tour with optional Arena Entrance!
We had a great afternoon with Renata. She speaks german very fluent and understandable, took time to answer all the questions of our two boys (11,13) and was able to inspire us adults at our level very much with her competence. Although it was a very hot day, she was able to keep our attention friendly, involved and with empathy. Thank you, Renata!
Thank you for appreciating Renata's empathy and knowledge. Very happy to know your children had a great time during the Kids friendly colosseum tour with optional Arena Entrance!
Actual name of our tour was Colosseum and Ancient Rome Treasure Hunt for Kids, but that specific name was not on the dropdown list. In any case we brought two grandchildren, ages 10 & 7. Our guide was Matteo and he was incredible. The kids were mesmerized, asked great questions and Matteo was patient and enthusiastic. Plus we learned a lot ourselves. I don't want to go overboard, but through our many years of traveling, we thought that Matteo was the best guide we have ever met, anywhere! He is a trained, experienced archeologist himself - and a history buff with a gift for communicating. What a treat!
Dear irkr, thank you for choosing us for your tour in Rome. Making tour interesting for kids is one of our main aims. We are very happy you and your children had fun during your tour. We hope someday you will come back in Rome and Book another kids tour! Best Wishes
We were fortunate enough to have Matteo as our tour guide around the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Matteo is an extremely passionate guide who not only loves what he does, but is able to transfer that passion over to you whilst providing information. We were travelling with two children (aged 8 and 5) and Matteo worked hard at keeping them engaged and showing them 'before and after' illustrations to try and bring to life, what they were seeing. 3 hours in the hot, August sun is a lot for a 5 year old, however, Matteo was sure to always find shade for us to stop in and was extremely considerate of a young child’s needs. As an adult, I have learnt bucketfuls of information from Matteo today and had an amazing time! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
