Very unhappy

Going up a hill my wife got dizzy and almost fainted We stopped for her to rest Guide got very rude and said that we needed to continue Explained to her that she needed to cool down Said she couldn’t continue unless we turned in our head sets and left the group. We gave her the sets and said we would continue on our own. She became even more upset I explained I did it want to continue the conversation and for her take her group on. She then started telling various location we could meet Explained that we didn’t want to work with due to Her attitude and for her to continue with her group

Operator response

Hello, we are very thankful for your feedback, but you forgot to leave out one very important detail...that the conversation between you and the guide was happening while you were screaming and cursing her in front of everyone witnessing, Like you said, she actually tried to find a way for you to meet up after your wife had gathered her strength

Good but less than expected.

The tour of the colosseum was very basic. I had hoped for the cost it would have included more. The meeting location was at a closed restaurant . A specific address would have been helpful in giving directions to the taxi. It was overall good.

Coliseum tour

We absolutely recommend taking this guided tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable and made the excursion enjoyable. We went on a very hot day but our guide kept us all engaged and kept us moving along the way while we learned so much. Worth having a tour to see this historic sight.

Not with the prize

1-Not worth the prize for a small group. It wasn’t small. 2- Tour guide didn’t speak enough English. It was a lot of work trying to figure out what she was saying. 3- Tour was rushed and she was walking so fast that a lot of people could not keep up.

Great tour

The short range radio usage was really useful. It allowed you to wander a bit and still stay connected to the group. Our guide had great visual aids too.

Colosseum & Palatine Hill Walk

Appreciate the amount of time to seeing these historic sites. We did get lost from the tour guide a couple of times due to the rapid pace of the tour. Thought the tour guide should have allowed us to take the elevator on the way back. We weren't told either about needing our Passports to enter twice . All in all, it was a good tour and would let others know about this

Sad situation at the Coliseum in Rome.9/14/24

Once we realized the tour was going to start with the Forum and Palatine , due to my restrictions of being on a cane, prevented me from going up and down uneven surfaces, we were not allowed to meet up with them for the coliseum part of the tour. Therefore we lost our money as there was no refund allowed. The woman in charge was very pleasant. The tour guide was as helpful as he could be but their hands were tied.

Operator response

Dear Cynthia, I'm very sorry you missed out the tour, but your statement is not true, we did offer you to meet up with the group later on to visit the Colosseum...instead you disappeared without saying anything...

Amazing!

Our guide was amazing and was a wealth of information! He would share with us pictures of what things used to look like. He was so knowledgeable. We had a hard time finding the meeting point and messaged them and they were able to wait 2 extra minutes for us. So grateful

Really informative and fun

The tour guide was amazing, she had a background in archeology and was overall a very nice and fun person. Though it may be a good idea to read up on some important people before the tour because she didn’t go in depth about who those people were.
