Dear Jennifer, Thank you so much for joining us at the Capuchin Convent! It was a pleasure to have you with us and to share our rich musical tradition and our most mysterious history with you. We look forward to seeing you again in Rome! 🥰 Un abbraccio, Roma Opera Omnia Team
Delightful sacred music to start our Easter weekend in Rome. Felt very special. Talented singers performed in atmospheric, off-the-beaten-path venue. Crypt museum very interesting as well.
Dear Suzanne, Thank you so much!! 😍 It was wonderful to have you with us and to celebrate the beginning of the Holy Week together at the Capuchin Convent. We of the Schola Romana Ensemble are so happy you had a good time with us, and we look forward to singing for you again next time you're in Rome! Un abbraccio, Paola and the Roma Opera Omnia Team
This was one of our top activities in Rome. The concert was excellent. All 4 singers had amazingly strong voices. The explanation about the songs was very interesting. We booked directly with Roma Opera Omnia. The communication was excellent on the part of Paola (who is also one of the singers) The crypt itself was truly astonishing. Creepily beautiful. Our only regret was we didn't have enough time in the museum/crypt as it closed earlier than we anticipated.
Dear Donna, Thank you so much for your kind words 🥰 I am so happy to know you had a good time with us. The whole Schola Romana Ensemble joins me in saying what a pleasure it was to sing for you in the Capuchin Convent. We all look forward to seeing you again next time you're in Rome to share one more afternoon of music. Un abbraccio, Paola and the Roma Opera Omnia Team
The a cappella concert of early music at the Capuchin Crypt was a highlight of my week in Rome. The space was intimate, with ethereal acoustics, and the quartet of vacalists was superb. A haunting and memorable experience. And a very personal one—it felt quite non-commercial. The same person who responded to my email when I booked the concert was also the person who welcomed me to the Capuchin museum, as well as one of the four singers in the concert. I cannot recommend this event highly enough for anyone who loves early music.
Dear LaVerne, Reading your kind words fills me with joy. Thank you so, so much ❤️ I am so glad you had a great time with us at the Capuchin Convent, just as I loved assisting you before the concert, and then finally meeting you and singing for you. The rest of the ensemble will be delighted to know our music resonated with you. We'll be waiting for you next time you're in Rome!! 😍 Un abbraccio and a big thank you, Paola
We were given only 40 minutes to tour the museum and crypt which was nowhere near enough time to listen to the audio only tour and experience the museum and crypt. The concert itself was outstanding, however $175 (which included a $30 discount) for 2 people was a lot of money for a rushed audio only tour and half hour concert.
Dear Suzanne, I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed our concert! It was a pleasure for me to meet you and sing for you. However, I must correct you on the timing you stated here. You entered the Museum at 4:15 PM, and you were escorted to the Hall of Capuchins Convent for the concert at 5:25 PM. On average, guests take about 40 minutes to tour the Capuchin Museum and Crypt, and instead the scheduling of the event intentionally allowed you over an hour to tour at your preferred pace. Please consider that the ticket includes: access to the Capuchin Museum and Crypt and the audio-tour kit, access to the Convent Hall exclusively reserved for our guests, and a 45 minute long live performance by the four voices of the Schola Romana Ensemble, accompanied by a detailed presentation of every musical piece executed. We hope this provides a clearer picture of the experience we offer to our guests. Thank you again for attending our event. Kind regards, Paola and the Roma Opera Omnia Team
Excellent experience for those looking for different activities and beautiful memories. We had first the opera concert and then the 100% recommended cappuccino crypt tour.
Dear Luis, Thank you so much!! 🥰 We are so glad to know you had a good time with us! We hope we'll get to see you again next time you're in Rome. Un abbraccio, Paola and the Roma Opera Omnia Team
We wanted a unique experience for my husband’s birthday. This was recommended and we were not disappointed . The Capuchin museum and crypt were very interesting but the a Capella baroque music was exceptional.
Dear friend, Thank you so much! It was a pleasure to have you with us and to celebrate your husband's birthday together. ❤️ I'll make sure to pass on your kind words to all the Schola Romana Ensemble. We can't wait to see you again next time you're in Rome! Un abbraccio, Paola and the Roma Opera Omnia Team
The music performance was excellent and a highlight to a very rainy landing in Rome. The trip through the museum was just so so and the crypt was definitely an oddity.
Dear friend, Thank you!! ❤️ I am so glad you enjoyed the Sacred music concert in the Capuchins Convent. The crypt is truly one of a kind. It is undoubtedly unsettling, in the way the friars meant it, to invite spiritual reflection. We truly hope we'll get to see you again and to share more music! Un abbraccio, Paola and the Roma Opera Omnia Team
What an amazing experience. First of all, these are superb musicians. I could have listened to them for hours. Secondly, the acoustics in this room made the music touch my soul. If you want a Rome experience without the crushing crowds, go here! It is a hidden gem for things to do in Rome! A sincere thanks for Paola, who without her help, we would not have been able to enjoy this! Grazie mille!
Dear Jene, Your words truly touched my heart... Thank you so, so much 🥹 I am so glad you enjoyed our a cappella concert in the Capuchin Convent. I'll make sure to pass on your kind words to the other singers. You'll make their day. It was my absolute pleasure to meet you and sing for you. ❤️ I can't wait to see you again next time you're in Rome! Un abbraccio grande, Paola and the Roma Opera Omnia Staff
