Another amazing experience

My oldest son gave me a hug and thank me for this tour! That's a lot since he's a freshman college student! Our tour guide was amazing and so knowlegeable on the history.

Michelangelo's masterpiece meeting in the heart of Rome

I was impressed when I went up the stairs designed by Michelangelo. The magnificent atmosphere of the square and the view of the Roman Forum were really impressive. I visited at sunset, and the buildings with golden lights were so romantic. Definitely a place to recommend.

Great added extra!

Very interesting. Well worth a visit after the coliseum to solidify knowledge. And very cool in the hot weather! Fabulous photo opportunities!

A good choice and you can set your own pace/interest

We enjoyed our private tour. Although lines weren't bad at the time, they can be at many attractions in Rome. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful throughout.

Don’t miss this opportunity

We had a very good and interesting tour of the three museums. One of the most interesting aspects was the amazing open view of the Forum from the rear of the main building. Spectacular. Our guide was excellent and very well informed.

Another Amazing Experience

Our guide Serena, provided us endless information about the museums, palaces, artwork, and statues. The museums are vast, one could spend days just viewing the artwork in each one. Serena did a great job focusing on the most important works and providing unique insights into a variety of pieces. A truly great tour.

Unfortunate cancellation

I’m sure the actual tour would have been wonderful. I can’t really rate the tour since we cancelled our trip to Italy. I did 4 stars simply because it was non refundable. I understand the entry tickets being that way but was given the reason by the private tour company that they would have turned others down after me, even though it is not peak season and I cancelled within 48 hours. There should be some flexibility.

A Haven of History

This was a very informative tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and we were glad we had one because the museum is so extensive it is easy to get overwhelmed. She made sure that we hit all of the highlights of this great museum. FYI, the Capitoline is not air conditioned and there are lots and lots of stairs. If you have any kind of walking or mobility issues this museum is probably not for you.

Highly recommended

Situated very near the Colosseum, well worth the lift to see the overview of the city of Rome. Great views.
