I put 1 because I can’t put 0 I made reservations for 5/30/26 instructions were to meet at a hotel for pick up at 9:00 am, we arrived 8:45, waited till 10:00am no one showed up! There was no local phone number to contact, never received any message or email from the “company “
Nice day in Bursa after skipping ATV jeeps - totally unnecessary as well as half an hour shopping of turkish delights in the outskirts of the city. One has so many shops in the main bazaar right in the center of the city beside the Big Mosque - Ulu Camii. We skipped intentionally also Ulu daĝ mountain and lunch there as we wanted to see Bursa, the first capital of the Ottoman empire (1326 - 1365), as much as possible. And we did it.
This tour appears as a great value which I believe it could be. However, there were several hiccups along the way. 1. They were supposed to pick us up at the hotel. However, the guide called and said they missed us somehow and told us to take a taxi to the ferry. We did and the guide paid for the taxi. 2. In Bursa, there was to be time if you wanted to rent snowmobiles. That didn’t happen supposedly due to weather. Which could be true. 3. The bus was to pick up the group after the cable car from the mountain to Bursa city center. The bus driver got lost so he was 40 minutes late for pickup. This was true because we had stayed on the bus instead of the cable car and can attest to the fact that we had been driving in circles. 4. The last stop was to be at a Turkish Delight factory. The guide informed us the driver had missed the exit so we would not be going back. Our guide Marmud was very personable and can say quite attentive to our personal needs. Specifically, my wife who has some sight and mobility issues. He seemed surprised that we tipped him considering all the mistakes but we didn’t think he was to blame
Good visit - the only challenge I had is the group was small and not very eager so we kept getting our time cut short. 15 min in bursa was ridiculous - other people were happy to get back on the van and I ended up missing out
It is the only excursion outside Istanbul that is really worth doing. The organization is not always perfect but the beauty of the places and especially the experience of the long and magnificent zip line make the hike a must
This was good experience especially ferry ride and cabin car ride and panoramic views😊 I will enjoy the whole trip. From my side 👍 up.
We got screwed big time. The tour guide did not pick us up at our hotel as agreed. We waited for an hour and a half and no show. I Contacted Viator and complained and requested a refund. Viator refused to reimburse us. We’ve spent hundreds on previous tours with Viator, but their callousness towards us over a $90.00 refund has caused them to lose a customer permanently!
Nice trip, especially the part in the mountains with the chairlift. Too bad about the poor lunch (we were left hungry) and the stops in the sweets and jam shops: uninteresting and clearly made to make us spend money, there was nothing to see, only to buy. Quad bike ride: it's worth bringing some cash as paying by card costs 10% more. The photographer a bit 'invasive in taking photos and convincing you to buy them at very high prices, but it is not mandatory to buy them.
We booked this trip to Bursa via "Get your Guide". Unfortunately, this trip turned out to be a tourist shopping trap. So many and unfortunately totally overpriced shops were visited that there was hardly any time for Bursa and the mountains. Nice crossing by ferry. We did not drive to the famous tree (place) and thus never saw it. We were only allowed to have lunch at 5 pm (25 min. Time for that). Price performance is underground
Interesting trip but too many stops at pointless shops selling Turkish Delight, jams, silks etc. Quad biking expensive. No time left at mountains or Bursa. No need to stop at all these shops on way as better quality and cheaper goods available in Istanbul centre. All shop stops mean returns about 10.30pm could be 7-8pm.
