Enjoy a 2-hour visit discovering amazing masterpieces home to the Borghese Gallery. Your visit will start on the ground floor where you will get the chance to visit Bernini's famous " Rape of Proserpina" and learn about the latin myth behind this amazing masterpiece. Your visit will continue by discovering other famous masterpieces created by Bernini such as " Apollo & Daphne" and " David". Your journey will then continue to the first floor where your Tour Guide will show you acclaimed paintings made by Raphael and Caravaggio, such as the " Young sick Bacchus" and " Boy with a basket of fruit". Not only will the statues and paintings leave you astonished, but the Gallery itself is beautifully adorned with gold crown mouldings and frescoes covering entirely the ceilings.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and significantly helped our appreciation of the artworks. You only get 2 hours in the museum so the tour couldn't have included any more than what we saw.

All went smooth . The entry time was changed from noon to one but thank God for that because the heat became unbearable by noon. They did call way in advance to ask us if we are ok with the change . The guide was excellent. We had Viktoria. Knowledgeable polite, professional! The museum is spectacular. Should not be missed when you go to Rome !
