Best Of Rome - Driving Tour
Description
Enjoy a wonderful tour by car to discover the beauty of the eternal city at your own pace. In this tour you will be picked up at your place by a local driver that will show you the main sites we have in Roma and some secret gems and then will drive you back at your place. We offer 2 versions of this tour: full day (8 hours) and half day (4 hours). The tour is customizable, that means if you have any special request we can fit in to let you have what you desire, like extra stops in places you heard about or longer stops for lunch or to visit sites (We need these requests done at the time you book the service).

Guide had a degree in architecture. He knew lots about history. He grew up in Rome. His English was excellent. He saved us lots of time by waiting while we walked around sights. Cost only slightly more than taking taxis from sight to sight. His recommendation for a restaurant to have dinner was very good.

Driver provided information and sight throughout the tour adjusting the stops to our interests. Along the way, he suggested several options with outstanding views and photo opportunities. It was a perfect way to experience Rome in a 4 hour period.

Emiliano was the absolute best driver, guide, ambassador we experienced on our trip. He took us everywhere we wanted to go and some of his suggested spots. Viator and Thybris are a match made in heaven. Our guide ("Emi") picked us up at the Rome Italy Temple in a beautiful minivan and over the course of 8 hours took us everywhere. Getting a driver/guide was one of the smartest decisions we ever made. Not only were we able to leave the driving to him, but he gave us background on everything we saw. And I think we saw just about everything! While "Ancient Rome" is amazing, the highlight for us was spending time seeing "Christian Rome" in more detail -- Santa Maria della Vittoria, Santa Maria Maggiore, San Giovanni in Laterano, and of course St. Peter's. Be sure to see both sides of this incredible city!

Great day long driving tour of Rome. Emiliano (our guide and driver) was outstanding. He was very considerate of our comfort and needs. We had two couples and his van was very comfortable and clean. Emi made sure we hit the sites and spent time where we wanted to. He also showed us other great sites. We had lunch the “Dino & Tony Hostaria - Pizzeria”. Great food and atmosphere! Dino and Tony we lots of fun! We thoroughly enjoyed our day! Thanks!
