Our guide, Alfredo, was very knowledgable and interesting. He asked us what we had already seen and altered the route so we could enjoy some different scenery. Such a fun way to see Rome. Would do this tour again!

I would highly recommend this tour. Our driver (Alfredo) arrived at the port on time. The car was spotless. He gave us a very knowledgeable history lesson about Rome and the Romans on the way. He also managed to negotiate the narrow streets of Rome to bring us as close as anyone could get to the major sites. It was definitely worth it.

We had party of 8. Used a shore excursions tours. Pre & post. Also, for Naples, Pompeii, Isle of Capri, Sicily, & Venice. All vehicles are top of the line. Drivers & Guides are Excellent. Guides were fun, interactive, knowledgeable, and so very much accommodating to our every need. This was our 3rd time using them. Nunzia was THE best to work with. She customized our tours to US. Pure PERFECTION. Can’t rec them enough….
My husband and I were on a cruise and booked a private driver through Joe Banana to take us around Rome. We were picked up from Port in a new Mercedes Benz by a driver that looked like he was from the band, the Beatles. His name was Damiano and he was absolutely amazing. The food on our cruise was terrible so he brought us to a breakfast place. Then we had tickets and passes provided by this company to the colosseum. Afterwards we had lunch and Damiano took us wherever we wanted to go. He had phone chargers, cold waters and candies for us in the car. He was a safe driver and a great guide since he is native to the city. We saw so much and were so glad we chose this instead of a group tour. Hannah was our concierge and did a great job organizing everything and was very responsive. This was first class service and we highly recommend!

What a joy it was to travel from our cruise ship to Rome in the luxury of a Joe Banana vehicle. We fit all of our luggage in and were off to see the sites of Rome with our amazing driver, Giuseppe. He was informative and fun, he filled us in on what was to see and his communication as to where we would be picked up and how to get a hold of him was impeccable. We loved our post cruise experience and immediately fell in love with Rome! Added bonus was definitely being dropped off at our hotel! Thank you so very much, Joe Banana!! This was our 2nd time visiting Rome...my husband after the 1st visit would say "I hate Rome". Well after our great tour he says "I actually enjoyed our visit to Rome" Hallelujah!!!!! We chose a private tour company, Joe Banana Limos & Travel (info@joebananalimos.net). I was suspicious of the name, but after much research the reviews were very good, they even have a toll free # +1 888-727-4707. Our tour was the Best of Rome with Vatican & Colosseum guide/tickets. Our contact was Cindy (originally from US), which made it very easy to communicate via email and phone. Our guide and driver "Emaneula and Marco" were outstanding...Emanuela was very informative, fun and sensitive to the needs of a couple of people in our group. The driver Marco, OMG his skill in maneuvering around Rome was unbelievable, he was about 10m from van to Trevi Fountain. We were able to tour the Colosseum, Roman Forum (in detail), Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel, drive by major monuments and have time for gelato and get us back to the ship in plenty of time. We loved the narration Emaneula gave prior to entering the Sistine Chapel. I would highly recommend Joe Banana limos for your Italy tour needs

My husband and I took a cruise for our honeymoon and had been recommended Joe Banana for our excursions opposed to the ones the trip offered. The prices were comparable to the ships but we had so much more freedom in what we were doing, and it was just the two of us instead of 50 other people being herded around. We had the same driver both days and he was absolutely amazing. He offered great recommendations on things to see and places to eat when we had free time. We also had a private tour of the Vatican set up by Joe Banana and it was an experience. We would use Joe Banana again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.

We had an absolutely wonderful day in Rome, thanks to the excellent service provided by JBL and his incredible driver, Antonio. Antonio met us at the gangplank of our ship and shared his favorite places in Rome with us. He dropped us off at the Roman Forum and at the end of our visit, we called him and 10 minutes later, there he was to pick us up and whisk us off to his favorite local restaurant just across the Tiber. We spend the afternoon tooling around Rome with occasional drop-offs at interesting sites where Antonio picked us up after we had enjoyed them. We really hated to say goodbye to Antonio at the end of the day. He is a wonderful man, an expert guide and driver and now a true friend. We can't say enough about JBL and the service they provide.
