Lying under the legs of the Bosphorus Bridge is the Beylerbeyi Palace, the elegantly-furnished 19th-century summer residence of the Ottoman sultans. It is highly recommended to cross the match we did it by public Ferri we bought the Istanbul card that I served you for all public transport
I stayed on m the European side so seing the Asain side was lovely. Really enjoyed the gardens and summer palace.
The Beylerbeyi Palace and Camlica Hill. Both were beautiful places to learn of some of the history on the Asian side of Istanbul. I enjoyed them both. Also the market place. What I did not enjoy was the rip-off at the restaurant that was recommended by the tour guide. It was the most expensive lunch for 2 people I have ever had in the world, $124.91. I don't recommend going with the tour recommendation on where to eat lunch. I was very surprised and disappointed and felt it was geared to take advantage of tourists who obviously don't know any better. Sad but true.
Güran was a excellent tour guide with a wide knowledge on Intanbuls history i will definitely be coming back to turkey and use his as a tour guide
I had a lovely day with Gurcen! He was on time, his English was good, he was accommodating and eager to take me to all of the places I want to go. He laid out a tour route and suggested something I hadn't listed. There was no hurry or stress of any kind. Communicating with him electronically made everything flow smoothly. I recommend him as he is a good guide and a friendly and enjoyable person. Janie from New Orleans
