- Tour start time can be subject to changes depending on the availability of the Colosseum Underground Tickets, in case of a Change of the start time; we will send you a private message with the new start time
- Luggage and big backpack are not allowed inside the Colosseum
- Flammable Sprays, Selfie sticks, knifes or any kind of guns or cutters even with license can not enter the Colosseum
- Because of some restrictions by the Colosseum Authorities the part of Underground Chambers visit will be conducted by a local expert archaeologist of the Colosseum and will be in a group
- Confirmation with all the details of the tour will be received after Booking the Colosseum underground chambers tickets
- Tour may start with ancient Rome and then move to Colosseum and will finish with the local archaeologist of the Colosseum in the third tier
- Tour may start with Colosseum and will finish in the Roman Forum with your private guide
- In case of not succeeding to book Colosseum underground Tickets, You will be offered the normal Colosseum tour without underground chambers visit with a partial refund or tour will be cancelled and you will have a full refund
- As per Colosseum scheduled tours of the underground chambers you will receive an email with specific start times
- Colosseum Third Level and Terrace are not Accessible for the Public
- We highly recommend to have an on the road cell phone to be easy to contact us and to contact you if necessary

- In case of dangerous rain it can be impossible to walk inside Colosseum Undergrounds and you will be given 45 minutes on the ARENA FLOOR where you can see all the underground sections without walking inside it
- All participants must bring a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g. passport, driver's license, etc)
- Pets and service dogs are not allowed
- Entry Tickets will be provided by our guide the day of the Tour at the meeting point
- Your Guide will be waiting for you holding a Sign saying TOURS OF ROME in the Meeting point.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

A very informative and interesting guide was the star. The 3 hours were quite exhausting for an 84 year old but I loved everything about the tour.
The underground portion was amazing and the guide was full of great facts. The visit to the palentine hill was way neater than I expected. Everything was great!
A great true with a wonderful guide. She was experienced in archeology and was had great insights about the Colesseum and the Forum that were very informative. The immediate access to the venues including the underground experience was wonderful. Our guide really brought a good personal touch to the tour. Highly recommend!
Viator Tour of the Colosseum with Arena and Ancient Rome Tour was terible. They change the meeting location which was on a back street that was impossible to find. We should up 10 minutes late along with others and they told us too bad tour has already left. Made no effort to let us join the group, just gave us the passes and told us to leave. They were Rude and Inconsiderate.

Amazing and informative! Request Elizabetta. Very versed and speaks English VERY well. So worth the cost! I went from knowing a little about Rome to knowing a lot!
Guide had not done a tour since before Covid! Never got to see the underground because he did not know how to get to it. We wasted a half hour to forty five minutes while he tried to figure out what lines we were supposed to be in for the rest of the coliseum. Did most of the Forum tour from outside looking in and only saw a small piece of it because he didn’t know how to “skip the line” there also. They reimbursed a small piece of the cost but should have refunded the full amount. Paid for a premium tour. Was thoroughly disappointed. Please avoid Tours of Rome.

We had an incredible 3.5 hour journey with Franz and Tours of Rome through Ancient Rome and all levels of the Colosseum. He was personable and extremely knowledgeable regarding historical information as well as the social and political aspects of Rome’s evolution. His use of visual aids provided a time lapse view of multiple structures that was very helpful. His expertise and love of his job will tend to remind everyone of their favorite teacher. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and can recommend it to everyone without reservations.

This was an amazing tour! Our guide Francis, was outstanding. Super knowledgable. We did the underground areas which only a small number of people are let down to at a time. Also did the palatine hill and forum. The guide really made this experience and we learned a ton. Would highly recommend!

Our tour guide, Francis (oh I hope I got it right), was truly amazing. His enthusiasm for the subject matter is contagious. Take some water and be prepared for a true history lesson.
Very thorough and engaging guide for the Colosseum and Forum. We did not get to do the Underground Chambers because the tickets were not purchased in time even though we booked months in advanced. We could see down into the Underground from above. We went on a Sunday when the Vatican is closed and the Colosseum was very crowded.
