Step inside this beautiful mosaic laboratory in Trastevere, a stone’s throw away from the Botanical Garden. Meet Nadia, the mosaic artist who will be guiding you through the techniques of mosaic-making and teaching you how to make your own mosaic to take home with you. Choose the design you’d like to create and use the different tools and materials to start your work. The whole process will be guided by Nadia. As soon as your mosaic is finished, it will be placed in a box to allow it to be set (up to 6 hours), so you can easily take it home!

My family (me, my husband, our daughter and her boyfriend) all loved this experience. The teacher speaks little English, but we had no problem understanding her and her instructions. She is very helpful and demonstrated what we were to do. We had a great time making our projects and can't wait to get home and open them!
A nice and cozy course in a very small group - we got great guidance, laughed a lot and spent a great time
Lovely people and a nice quiet spot. It was very therapeutic haha! I wanted to make something different then the examples for my grandmother and she explained everything very good. You spend a lot longer on a small space then you think you do, it was like a puzzle but with little pieces of stone. Would definitely recommend!
It was an amazing experience — like nothing we have ever done. Would recommend to try. Fun, unique and interesting. Loved that some regular students came in too and were working on beautifully complex mosaics as well

This was an amazing, awesome class. Excellent experience. Would recommend it to anyone. It was thorough, interesting, interactive. You got to make your own mosaic to take home from the very beginning step all the way to the end. Jean Marco was the main teacher of this class when we went but the head teacher (and owner) Nadia, took over once he had to leave. The class was 3 hours but I was taking too long but she didn’t make me feel rushed and was very kind when I tried to apologize for going so far over time. They had a gathering of students by coincidence that day in the other room that was wrapping up and Nadia even offered us cake and chocolates and espresso from that get together. This was genuinely my favorite experience of going to Italy and I would recommend it to anyone that has even the smallest interest in taking the class. It was absolutely worth it!

We absolutely loved this mosaic session. It was really fun and I’d love to do it again. The hosts were lovely and they taught us how to shape each stone and create a really high quality mosaic souvenir. I highly recommend booking this activity - my teen daughter loved it too!

This was SO much fun! There's so much mosaic work in all the churches we visited that this was really great to get to do early on in our trip - it gave us so much more appreciation for the craftsmanship and talent behind each tile cut and placed in thes amazing places. Our fearless leader was very helpful in our project work and our pieces made it home safely due to their expert packing!
