2-Day Best of Rome and Vatican - Luxury Private Tour

We travelled to Rome 3 days before a cruise and used Rome In Limo for our airport transfers, cruise port transfers, a day tour in Rome, and a Vatican tour guide. Communication with Jany in the office both before the trip and in country was excellent and always very quick responses. All of our drivers and tour guides were A+ - prompt, knowledgeable, and on time. I noticed their pricing was a bit higher than some others for the transports, but it was well worth it - we never waited for a driver - they were always early - and the vans were comfortable and cool. Our tour guide for our day around Rome was knowledgeable and extremely helpful in accommodating my mom's mobility issues. Our Vatican tour guide, Chiara, was incredible - she was knowledgeable, guided us through the crowds with precision, and was extremely helpful when my mom struggled with the heat. I will absolutely use them again if we return for another cruise or Italian adventure!

I cannot say enough positive things about this company and Jany, who assisted us throughout the planning process. Jany was incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful every step of the way. Even after we arrived in Rome, we were pleasantly surprised to receive prompt responses to our questions over the weekend. Our Vatican tour guide, Chiara, was outstanding—after just three hours, it felt as though we were touring with a member of the family. Having a tour guide made all the difference. Her extensive knowledge and 17 years of experience provided a depth of insight that greatly enhanced our experience. Peter, our private driver and tour guide, was equally exceptional. His expertise, professionalism, and personable nature made our experience truly unforgettable. Our driver, Vlad, from Rome to Civitavecchia Port was incredibly understanding when he learned that the airline had lost our luggage. He graciously allowed us to make a brief stop at a store near the port so we could pick up a few essential items before boarding our cruise. His flexibility and kindness during a stressful situation were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use their services again.

Rome in limo does the best tours. Our tour guide Peter was great, very knowledgeable, tailored our itinerary to what we wanted to see. Worth the price.

Rome in Limo was great and worked with us to do Rome in 1 day (rather than 2) since we were tight on time. Our guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable. They also hooked us up with a private guide for the Vatican which was worth every penny. Would book through them again in a heart beat!

Our lecture guide, Barbara, was excellent. She was friendly, professional, and knew others that enhanced our experience. Our driver, Francisco, ensured that we were dropped off and picked up in safe locations very close to each site. They were outstanding.

I can see why Rome In Limo has over 5,000 reviews and 5 stars. We were a group of 16 adults traveling through Italy. For our 3 days in Rome we hooked up with RomeInLimo for 2 days with 2 van drivers and the walking tour at the vatican. Nick and Maurice were our drivers - highly suggest you ask for them and let them pick the lunch spots. They were amazing. Jany in the office was fantastic as we worked through some changes in guests. The tour guides Barbara and Tanya were fantastic. We also worked out a 3 hour night tour in the vans in addition to the 2 day tours. Again highly recommend a night tour. These people are the best and you will not be disappointed.

Everything went so smoothly, Jany was exceptional in her communications. We had to change things last minute due to a canceled flight and RomeinLimo made sure that everything all worked out. Absolutely wonderful service !!

We had Stephan for a driver and guide , he was wonderful. He was so very knowledgeable with all his art history experience. We went all over Rome for at least 6 hours. Stephan was very pleasant and interesting . I would highly recommend using him for your Romeinlimo experience!

Having only two days we wanted to make the most of our visit. This was definitely worth it! Not only is it nice to have a private van driving you around; but more importantly is the tour guide. Our guide, Peter, made our experience so much more enriching. Peter gave us the background and context of all the sites. He also took us to an off-the-beaten path places. In addition to Peter, we had Maximo, as our tour guide for the Vatican. He was hilarious in addition to his deep knowledge of everything Vatican. Highly recommended Romeinlimo

Such an amazing two days in Rome. There were 6 of us and we did a private tour of the Vatican with Massimo on Saturday, the 21st, and a full day Rome tour with Nick on Sunday. We hated to leave either of them. They both filled us with so much history, humor and true compassion for their jobs.
