In the advertisement it shows pictures of actually visualizing & the experience of actually seeing the Wimbledon tennis courts. It’s a self guided tour of Wimbledon & you can only walk outside by the museum. It was a let down or false advertisement that depicts getting my photo by the actual tennis courts.
I was charged for the Wimbledon Tour but they didn’t allow for the tour because of the tournament. However, Viator should have notified us about it in advance.
We did the 15th June Tour with Chris he was a very knowledgeable, witty, experienced, and humorous guide. He got us into the best places to see the changing of the guard, well worth it just for that, kinda wished we kept going on the longer tour but as we are tennis fans enjoyed the Wimbledon museum tickets with a short tour to Centre Court included in the price. Would have loved to do the 90min tour but the preparations for the tournament were in full swing. It is 3 hours of walking and standing so you need to be fit enough to do it although it felt like time just flew
Dan was a great tour guide. He knew every little everything about the spots for the tour. We had a great time and learned a lot about the history of the area. Dan was spot on when he noticed a white horse during the changing of the guard and asked us to stay in the area, because the king and queen would be out an about. Next thing we know is that King Charles and Queen Camilla were driving by in their cars. Great tour!!!
This walking tour was very interesting and informative. Our excellent tour guide was Jason. He was knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable. His knowledge of history and the sites was incredible and his passion for sharing the information with the group was appreciated. He also took the time to provide us with clear directions on how to get to Wimbledon after the walking tour ended. Thank you!
Informative, interesting, fun. Ash was a great guide and we saw all the sites and had plenty of time for photos and he answered all our questions.
You should know that the walking tour and the Wimbledon visit are two distinct things. You walk around Buckingham Palace and Owen was a good guide but then you are on your own to get to Wimbledon which is a considerable distance away by tube. You could really just plan your own trip to the Wimbledon museum on another day.
Offer insufficient, as in Wimbledon only the museum can be visited. The 90-minute tour is not included and cannot be booked separately. So you pay twice, that annoys me. Booking will not refund (despite refunding Wimbledon to Booking) this part, which I find anything but great. The whole tour should cost a little more for it at Wimbledon everything included. The tour around Westminster itself was great and the young lady from New Zealand did a very good job! But that was just the only highlight of this offer.
Nick was excellent!!! Very knowledgeable and funny! Would recommend him to anyone, His insights and delivery are was top notch! Thank you!
I'm furious and highly disappointed by my non fulfilled experience!!! Before I purchased the Wimbledon ticket I read thoroughly through the description of the tour. By writing in the description that this Wimbledon walking tour meeting point is at the Ritz Hotel - it means that there is going to be a guide guiding you to Wimbledon stadium and museum!!!! It doesn't say a walking tour by myself forth and back!!!! After I paid for this tour ahead of time, met at the alleged "meeting point", I was only then told on the spot that it is a solo tour, that it I need to guide myself to Wimbledon with no apparent guide in the horizon. In addition, there was ZERO logic to this alleged tour!!! I paid strictly for the Wimbledon walking tour and in stead I was told on the spot that I'm going for an attractions tour around London that other people requested in advance. After I was told that not only did I paid for an unguided tour to WIMBLEDON, I was now about to embark on various attractions tour that I neither paid for, nor wanted to take any participate in. If I had known that there would not be a guide on this Wimbledon walking tour, I WOULD HAVE MOST DEFINITELY NOT PAID 164 DOLLARS for this alleged guided tour. Meeting point is literally saying a guided tour. Furiously I had no choice but to leave the meeting point, lose this enormous fee for this "TOUR" and go back to my hotel. I paid for a guided tour for the purpose of being secured with a guide and not having to dragged myself to Wimbledon fourth and back. With GREAT sadness I say that I will never use VIATOR even again!!! Adi Shtainshneed
