Visit to the former Concentration Camp Sachsenhausen by train.

Description
The tour is a guided walk through the grounds of the memorial site of the former "model concentration camp of the Reich capital," Sachsenhausen, which was later also used as a "Soviet special camp." Built in 1936 during the Olympic Games in Berlin, Sachsenhausen also served as a training facility for the Camp SS. Additionally, it housed the central administrative office, the "Inspection of Concentration Camps." An experienced guide conveys the history of the camp and highlights the special role Sachsenhausen played within the concentration camp system. The tour addresses both the fates of the victims and the biographies of the perpetrators. It offers a respectful and educational experience that makes the significance of the memorial site and the lessons of history tangible. As a private tour, the itinerary can be individually tailored to your needs and interests.

We were very lucky to take Klaus on a private tour to Sachsenhausen. He picked us up directly at the hotel in Berlin and not only accompanied us safely, but also provided us with an incredible amount of knowledge throughout the tour – both in the concentration camp grounds and on the way there and back. Klaus succeeds in explaining complex historical contexts in a clear, respectful and understandable way without ever losing depth. His empathetic nature, combined with high competence, has made this tour a very special and valuable experience. We can recommend a personal tour with him without restriction – for anyone who really wants to understand history and values a humane, respectful and at the same time very professional accompaniment.
Vielleicht ja bald mal wieder in Berlin!
