Versailles Full Day Bike Tour with Palace, Gardens, & Picnic

Description
Take a tour of Versailles with a difference - by bicycle! It's the only way to see Versailles' expansive gardens plus you'll get to see highlights of Versailles that most visitors miss, including Marie Antoinette's country-style Hameau, the Petit Trianon and the Grand Trianon. You'll also enjoy a picnic by the Grand Canal then take a tour of the Palace of Versailles. You can walk through the breathtaking Hall of Mirrors, where King Louis greeted guests, and centuries later the Treaty of Versailles was signed to end World War I. When you ride with us, you will explore exponentially more of the 2,000+ acres of royal property than you would ever be able to see on your own.

I have been to Versailles before but never saw a quarter of what we saw on this tour. Well worth it.
Our guide was amazing! She was knowledgeable and fun. She genuinely was interested in getting to know our group and she seemed to really have fun and enjoy what she was doing.
I am 70 years old traveling with my 12-year-old granddaughter. We wanted to book something unusual at Versailles. The bike tour of the gardens along with a picnic by the canal and ending up with a quick tour through Versailles chateau was everything we could hope for at a wonderful price. You get to to pick up your food in the market square before you go to your bicycles and the guide stayed with us until he dropped us at the chateau Gates for the Versailles tour. Bikes were easy to use with gears and mostly flat terrain. With the bike tour we got to easily traverse from garden to garden and the guide and wonderful history as well as antidotes to tell us at each stop. I highly recommend.
Before our trip to Paris even began, we were so looking forward to this experience in particular as a romantic, fun, and unique way to explore the grounds of Versailles. Unfortunately, this tour did not come close to living up to our expectations. From the start, it was disjointed and unorganized - we didn’t even make it into the grounds until almost 11am after starting the tour at 9am. The bikes were used to go (very minimally) from point A to point B, but then we had to essentially fast walk through the different areas and ended up doing more walking than biking throughout the tour at least 2:1. The only reason for the 2 stars and not 1 is that Vlad was very kind and funny and truly tried to take care of our group. But in the end we were all exhausted, and felt like we could have seen more of the grounds in 1/2 the time (and with way less stress). In current state, would not recommend. Needs a good bit of work and streamlining in order to be enjoyable. Frustrating.
It was a great educational experience on many levels. Dave was prepared with historical data as well as local information to make an extremely pleasurable day!
Fantastic! Our tour guide, Nick, was not only a wealth of information and knowledge but very entertaining. We had a lovely time on the bike tour and getting the opportunity to check out the markets in the village before our trip was an unexpected surprise. By the time we were done with the bike part, we almost forgot we still had to tour the castle. It was just so much fun . I cannot recommend this enough. I would absolutely do this again.
Rory was a great guide and we got to see a lot of the gardens and out buildings which were very interesting. Rory explained the history in very plain easy to remember terms which was great. Fun to ride the bikes through the trails of the grounds.
Erik was wonderful. Very well spoken and knowledgeable. My kids (6, 12, and 12) all loved him and wanted to follow him around everywhere. The whole day was lovely and well timed (despite the rain, but we didn't care one bit).
I can't say enough good things about this tour, especially our guide, Nick. He is extremely knowlegable and engaging. He brought the stories to life in a way that was fun and educational. From start to finish, the entire staff was kind, professional, and incredibly helpful. Everything was well organized, making for a smooth and enjoyable day. Despite the weather factors out of our control, we were able to make the best of it, and the time flew by. I would absolutely book another tour with this company.
This was a very informational and beautiful tour. Vladimir was great. The length of the tour was a bit long for my 10 and 13 year old, but overall, we loved it. The bike riding was very enjoyable and being able to enjoy at picnic with food selected at the local market was a fun experience.
