Elena was wonderful. She adjusted our tour due to the extreme heat and last minute time constraints. She was very sweet and thoughtful and was extremely informative. At the end of the tour, she even helped us acquire transportation to our next destination. We are so grateful to have had her as our guide.
Anna was an outstanding tour guide. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and seemed to love history and her job. Actually it appeared she loved her job so much that it didn’t look like work at all.
Couldn’t understand the guide some of the time
Neil was amazing. He was incredibly engaging, funny and very informative. Even our teenage kids really enjoyed it. He did a great job of bringing the history of the Louvre and explanations of the art pieces together in a very clear and interesting way. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed the tour. (And appreciated the tip to quickly get to the front of the crowd at the Mona Lisa😉).
Very nice tour. The meeting spot was easy to find to meet up with guide. Our English speaking guide Olivia was fabulous. She gave us a quick overview of what and where we were going. I also liked that it was a manageable group size especially since this is a popular attraction! Also, the quick entry to avoid the masses coming in its worth paying extra for an experienced, knowledgeable guide to navigate through the masses! Worth the extra$$! I’m very familiar with the basic history of the Kings that occupied Versailles and by taking this tour and seeing it live really enhances the experience! Very happy we partook in this excursion! Thank you Olivia you made the experience that much more enjoyable!
Our family of 6 reserved a tour knowing the palace can be very crowded and I'm glad we did. Our guide Eric provided information about French history and the royal family that was new to us and we were still talking about it for the rest of the day.
Our tour guide was informative, funny and very interesting. I felt I learned a lot about the Louis and their opulent lifestyles.
We did the English guided tour with Anna. She was great! She kept the tour moving, was able to help us navigate some of the crowded rooms easily and provided just the right amount of info in each space. I would highly recommend doing this tour if you are visiting Versailles. The place is massive and very confusing otherwise. I also recommend doing the tour wi the garden passes. You can’t miss them as they are the best part. You explore them on your own after the tour concludes.
Guide was terrible. Couldn't stay on topic. Not the best. Not enough relevant information
Ching was extremely knowledgeable with a charming sense of humor. We had beautiful weather. Word of caution to those who may be claustrophobic - some of the palace rooms are small and there is no air conditioning. If it’s crowded, you can get packed in with several other groups. You can move forward through the rooms but can’t go back. Make sure you save a few hours to walk the grounds and explore Trianon and the Queen’s Hamlet.
