Amazing Vatican Experience

While it wasn’t our first visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, it was by far the most memorable—for both my family and the family traveling with us. We couldn’t have hoped for a better guide than Rosalba. She made navigating the crowds effortless and brought every room to life with her incredible knowledge, passion, and storytelling. I would highly recommend Eyes of Rome to anyone looking for the best Vatican tour experience imaginable!

Tour with Rosie!!!

We had Rosie as our tour guide. We didnt get to see St Peters because it was soohot and really we were so tired after 2 1/2 hrs . she took us thru the Vatican Museums and the sistenth chapel. She was so good, very knowledgable about so much history. She took her time and asked if we had any questions, we did and she answered them all. When we needed to stop for a rest she was great, it was just 3 of us, which was perfect. This small tour with her is the way to go. We wanted to do another tour with her but her schedule didnt work with ours, we were limited. We would highly recommend her!!!

Operator response

Thank you for this kind and thoughtful message. We're really glad Rosie made the experience feel personal, informative, and paced with care—especially on such a hot day. Rosie & The Eyes of Rome Team

Private Tour - Vatican and Sistine Chapel

Excellent private tour guide - Michela - incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and excellent English. Only major disappointment was not having access to St. Peter's due to the Pope's services - completely out of Michela and Tour companies control but would ne nice to have a voucher for future use as 2/3 of private tour was completed.

Alessia was a fantastic guide!!!

Worth every penny. Our guide Alessia was so kind and inviting. She showed us everything we wanted to see. We even asked about going through the holy doors at St Peter’s. She said it isn’t normally part of the tour; but she arranged for us to do that during our 4 hour tour.

A must-do Vatican tour.

This tour offers an exceptional experience, especially for those with a curiosity to learn. Led by Giulia, an expert archaeologist, we were provided with an abundance of insightful information throughout the journey. Her expertise and guidance greatly enhanced our visit. We also had the unique privilege of skipping the lines twice, including walking the stairs traditionally used by cardinals, with no other visitors present while the rest of the museum was crowded. For anyone with a deep appreciation for the Vatican and history, this tour is well worth the investment.
