This experience was amazing, we had a lovely local guide, Barbara and WOW she knows her stuff!! we did not have to line up for anything and Barbara was a wealth of information and answered all our questions and even surprised us with things we did not expect to see and hear. We highly recommend this tour company and all their staff. Definately will use them again in we are in Rome.
Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your wonderful review. We are truly happy that you enjoyed the experience with Barbara and our team. We hope to welcome you again in Rome soon. Please visit us at gyashtours.com. Kind regards, Gyash Tours
The tour time was not honored, resulting in a shortened tour. The tour was supposed to be at 9am. Less than 48 hours before the tour was scheduled to start we were advised that overbooking had occurred and we would either have to accept a 5:30 pm start or cancel. While we were able to juggle with other events and meet the new schedule, the late time forced us to miss the basilica, which had already closed by the time we finished the tour of the vatican museums and sistine chapel. We thought the guide was very good; however, we felt cheated for what we paid for. Not the fault of the guide but the booking company. This is the 2nd tour booked through Viator that was either cancelled or booking was significantly changed for a three day stay that put the burden squarely on us to resolve. I would think twice about booking tours through Viator in the future.
Dear Customer, Thank you for your feedback. We are truly sorry that the original tour time could not be honored and that this affected your overall experience. We understand how frustrating it can be to have a schedule changed shortly before the activity, especially during a short stay in Rome with other plans already arranged. As soon as the issue became clear, we offered the available alternatives, including the option to cancel. However, we fully understand that accepting a later time may have caused inconvenience and may have affected your possibility to visit St. Peter’s Basilica afterward. We are glad to read that you appreciated the guide and found the tour itself good, but we sincerely regret that the change in timing made you feel disappointed with the value of the experience. Your comments are important to us, and we will use them to improve our organization and communication, especially in cases where schedule changes may affect customers’ travel plans. Kind regards, Gyash Tours
We had a fabulous tour of the Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel with Roberto. He has an incredible and vast knowledge of the history, art and more. While it is usually a larger group it ended up being just two of us and Roberto wish us around maneuvering the crowds almost effortlessly and was great at focusing on our interests. I don’t think we would have seen half of what we did without his guidance. Perfect day and wonderful guide.
