To operator cancelled the night before

We were notified the night before the event that the tour was cancelled due to a technical glitch. This left as high and dry with no alternative option apart from to queue for three hours. We ended up having to pay more in order to avoid the extremely long cues.

The tour was cancelled by the operator the day before. Still no refund.

Beware of cancellation at the last minute! We had booked our tour for the Tuesday before Easter weekend, purposely avoiding the busy period in Rome. The day before the tour, we received a WhatsApp message saying there was a problem with the ticket delivery system (email) and if it couldn't be sorted by 6m thst evening we would be given a refund. No tickets arrived. Buying additional tickets on the day was so much more expensive than our original booking so we did not do this and 4 days later still no refund. When ordering make sure you have ACTUAL tickets and not a voucher as the tickets may never arrive. So disappointed.

Did not receive tickets booked in advance.

We never received the tickets we booked many days in advance. The agent kept telling us they would be sent, until one hour before the time we had booked, when he said they were not available and a refund would be given. It was too late to get replacement tickets, we missed out on seeing the vatican. Very disappointed

Varicantour

Worst I've ever experienced. After booking the Vatican Museum and Sistine 1v in advance, we found out the day before we were going there that there were no tickets left. Do NOT book here!!!

No tickets, 2 hour notice, booked 5 months in advance

Terribly disappointed!! Deserves zero stars!!! Book this tour elsewhere for your own good!! I booked this 5 months in advance with hype emails only a few hours before the tour... "get your tickets now... heres your tickets" the links didnt work!! We were told 2 hours before the tour that the tickets were no longer available... but that they would "look for other tickers for 1 hour, if not found then a refund would be provided". This meant we couldn't find our own elsewhere until then.... They didn't communicate that they hadn't found the tickets until we contacted Viator customer service long after the one hour was completed!

Ridiculous

Booked the event over 6 months in advance only to find out 1 hour before entrance that my tickets weren't available anymore. I had to go find another tour company for my wife and I.

Experience cancelled at the...

Experience cancelled at the last minute for non-existent and farcical reasons! Disappointing then that we had booked 1 month before. It is not 2 people who would have changed anything! So we queued for 7 hours for a 20€/person entrance!

Tickets Never Came

Very disappointing experience. I received an email 2 days before my visit saying that my tickets were ready, but when I looked in the app nothing was there. On the day of the event, the company sent me a message saying that due to a “technical issue” my tickets were delayed. Then, they messaged again saying they would have an update for me by 2 pm (the experience was supposed to start at 4:30 pm.) They finally said they had no tickets and that they would issue a refund. While I’m thankful for the refund, it was incredibly frustrating to have to plan around maybe having tickets or maybe not. We wound up buying some at the Vatican itself and saved $60 per person, which was at least a win.

SCAM ! dont bokk this

They dont have tickets, dont know what scam is this but they let you know 20min before that they dont have tickets for you and cancel on you. Many comments like this here but I did not read before and fall for the same thing. J hope Viator do something about this, I made a huge complain.
