Greatful

Joswey is the consumate professional, courteous, patient, accommodating, humorous, understanding and brimming with anecdotes, knowledge and witt. We joined the tour from 12th and 10th in PDC. This excursion was the highlight of our trip. Tulum, breathtaking. Coba, an expansion of reality. The Cenote, life changing. In the future trips will be planned around connecting with Joswey and affording time for further journeys under his guidance. A day to hold forever. Zach and Vanessa

Fantastic

The whole day was great the guide was amazing, full of knowledgeable facts about the tulum ruins and coba ruins. We had a lunch buffet that was amazing with a little shop when you could buy stuff. The people in the the store were friendly but not pushing you to buy anything. To end the day we got to swim in the cenote which was so beautiful.

Amazing experience

Perfect excursions, highly recommended and more economical than those offered in hotels, the very pending guides of all attendees and the very rich buffet food

Excursion to Tulum, Coba and Cenote

The tour we had contracted came to pick us up 45 minutes later, did not enter as they said at the hotel, we had to leave at the entrance of the road, we were told that the security check did not let them enter to pick us up or leave us after the excursion, which was a lie, they did not accompany us to the ruins, they explained everything to us on the bus and alone we sought life, the cenote that came on the excursion did not catch them far and took us to another. Totally a series of discontents from all the people who were on the excursion, I did not like it at all, and with the company of Viator I do not plan to hire more excursions, because between the company and the subcontract there is no communication and we pay the duck the users, because they blame each other.

We had some issues with...

We had some issues with the communication between the agency that sold the tour on Viator and the actual agency that was doing the tour, so later wanted to overcharge us for something we had already paid for (part of the 820 MXN per person that includes the state tax at Tulum Archeological site). We lost a lot of time discussing this and did not enjoy much of the first part of the trip exchangin texts to solve the problem. In the end, all was good and solved, but it was unfortunate that we were caught in the middle of this. There is no actual guide inside the archeological site and Coba and there isn't much information inside the site for you to learn about what you are seeing by yourself. To be honest, reading the ad again it does not promess that there is going to be a guide with you inside the place the whole time, so just be open to it of book a tour with an actual guide that goes with you. Also the Cenote that we went to was not the same as announced, which was a bummer (but interesting in its own way nonetheless). Lunch time is way too late (around 3 PM) and food was good. All things aside, they delivered everything that was promised (aside the cenote thing) and picked us up and dropped us at the hotel accordingly.

Very nice excursion. Julius was very nice and knowledgeable. Perfect for the kids since you don't spend too much time at one place. Finishing with the cenote is a great way to cool yourself at the end of the day.

Well managed day trip to multiple sites

They will handle the logistics of getting you to four sites (Tulum, Coba, Cenote, Playa Del Carmen) but makes for a long day if you are the main group coming from Cancun. I had the optional Playa Del Carmen pickup which saves some time. For the 90 mins in Tulum we had to stay with the guide the whole time listening to stories and only had 5 mins at the end to explore. We should be given 10-15 mins freetime and can listen to all the stories in the bus. Coba allowed you to rent tricycle taxis or your own bicycle which allowed more mobility and freetime rather than being stuck in the main group. On return to Playa Del Carmen we were dropped at the far end of town not the morning meeting point so I had to walk all the way back to get to my hotel. Some people claimed they did not know about the additional 730 Pesos Conservation fee but depends on where they booked as my reservation did state this. Would have liked more freetime in Tulum, renting the bike in Coba was definitely my favourite part, its like Angkor Wat biking in the jungle to all the sites, the Cenote was not that interested as there are so many and every tour till take you to one. Lunch is late at 3pm so bring snacks. Overall well organized considering all the logistics.

More than I imagined

From the breathtaking views in Tulum to the tranquility of the cenote, this tour was amazing. Also, the Mayan food was very good, and the guide super attentive. I recommend them to future travelers.
