On this tour, your Guide will introduce you to the must-see attractions of Trondheim. You will learn more about the history of the city and its legends. Your Guide will take you past the majestic Cathedral of Nidaros. You will cross the old bridge also called "happiness portal" which leads to the charming old quarter and its colorful houses. Your Guide will introduce you to the only bicycle lift in the world. On the way back we will stop at Stiftsgården, summer residence of the Norwegian royal family In case of delay, please contact us as soon as possible (before the start of the tour) We can wait up to 10 minutes after the start time. After 10 minutes, the tour will begin. Without any news from you, the tour will start at the scheduled time and you will be considered absent This tour is not private, however our groups have a maximum of 15 people. On the way to the old quarter, we will cross the old bridge also called the Portail du Bondheur.
Let yourself be guided through the old town of Trondheim and its typical colorful houses. We will take the opportunity to stop at the bike lift, typical of Trondheim
Stiftsgården is the royal summer residence. It is also the largest wooden palace in Scandinavia.

We have enjoyed a great city tour with Maelle from Gael and Maelle Travel. It was highly professional, informative, interesting and entertaining. The guide created a great spirit of involvement. She made us fall in love with Trondheim.
This is one port that can easily be skipped. The weather was cloudy during our visit, so we couldn’t see much of the scenery. Even on a clear day, I would rather spend the money on other attractions elsewhere on the itinerary. The following day we visited Tromsø, which offered far more interesting excursions and activities. If you’re cruising through this region, I would recommend using this stop to relax and enjoy the ship’s amenities instead. For me, this port call was the least memorable part of the trip. The highlight was spotting a few reindeer along the way, but otherwise I found it to be a disappointing stop.

Indeed, you never mention our activity or the guide. You mention the scenery, but we offer a walking tour of the city of Trondheim and not a bus tour. You mention that during your experience you saw some "reindeers along the way". For your information, there is no reindeers in the heart of a busy city like Trondheim. Maybe you are talking about another place. Moreover, on that day you were very lucky with the weather because it was a beautiful sunny day without any clouds. Your review is a bit surprising for us because at the end of the Trondheim walking tour, you told the guide that it was an interesting tour and a beautiful city. So it appears that your review does not belong to us and is misleading other guests. Tips for next time : When you add a review, be aware to write it under the good activity and not a random one.
Our tour guide Lana was awesome. She did a great job of keeping us all together, speaking loudly and clearly and giving us a lot of history about the town. I highly recommend her as a tour guide. She walked at a good pace and always ensured everyone kept up.

Great overview of Trondheim. I would recommend the tour to anyone wanting a small group, city walking tour.
I thoroughly enjoyed my tour with Gael. Fortunately for me, it ended up being a personal solo tour. Gael has exceptional knowledge of the city and took me to some spectacular viewpoints as well as sharing information at each site. A must do tour if in Trondheim.
We needed the convenience of somebody showing us around town in Trondheim. Based on the review, we picked this tour, and we're so glad we did. Being the low season, we were the only ones on the tour with Gael. He got us situated with spikes, ready to walk around. He had great information, helping his narrative with a binder of articles and pictures to show Trondheim over time. It was so great. Perfect mix between learning the history of the city and how it is living there today. Very enjoyable, and highly recommended!
