Excellent option to transfer airport to port the day before cruise and fit in a terrific tour of Rome. Giovanni was SO knowledgeable, warm, funny, excellent driver and really interesting.
This was the PERFECT experience start off our honeymoon! Giovanni was informative and kind, took us to all the places we were hoping to see with 15-30 minutes to roam and take photos at many stops, and gave us the peace of mind to get to our cruise ship port with no hiccups. He also took us to the beautiful view in the photo and snapped it for us, which was a gorgeous surprise. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see Rome, even on a time limit!
Angelo the driver was great and fountain of information. If I had one criticism about the service (not Angelo) was the cost. I realize taking a driver out of circulation for 3hours is hard on a car service provider. I have to believe to cost could be lowered a little. I would still recommend the service at the current cost.
We had some time to spare before we boarded our cruise out of Rome. Our guide Ricardo was polite, informative and handsome. He shared all of the best hightlights of Rome. He was considerate to my 76-year old mom and tried to make sure she was comfortable throughout the tour. He even took us for a cup of coffee at a cute cafe since we were suffering from jet lag! Thank you Ricardo for a memorable day!
Our cruise line wouldn't let us change our flights to have more time in Rome. We booked this quick tour and our driver was amazing. Picked us up early, took us to the major sights in Rome where we were able to get out of the car and take some time visiting and taking pics! It had to be fast but it didn't feel rushed. We got to our ship and headed on to other adventures! Thank you!
This was the perfect solution for what we needed to get to see Rome in a VERY short amount of time before we had to get to our cruise ship. We didn't have enough time after our cruise ship arrived back in port to check out Rome due to our flights. My only complaint was the our driver didn't really speak great English as the description said, therefor our tour guide couldn't really give us great descriptions of what we were seeing. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Worth the money for how convenient and easy this was.
