This was a fun experience. I enjoyed it the most of all my tours the week we were in Cancun. HOWEVER….. There are a few things that others need to be aware of when booking this tour. And some recommendations for the TOUR COMPANY, to IMPROVE this experience. 1. This tour is NOT for introverts. It is a turn- up party vibe experience, with games, music, dancing, drinking and more. If you are a person who is shy, or does not like crowds, or meeting new people, this experience may NOT be for you. 2. The tour is filled with mostly Spanish speaking, Latinos from different countries around the world. If you don’t speak Spanish, it’s likely you will feel left out and not understand all that is going on. Even though our tour guide spoke English and I speak Spanish, we tried to translate, but everything can’t be translated when people are having fun, speaking, cross talking, sharing cultural experiences, singing, etc. Therefore, my kids (who are young adults) and sister who do not speak Spanish, felt lost and a little out of place at times. 3. The food is NOT a meal. It’s a round cheese like tray, covered with a plastic wrap, of tiny bite sized samples of Mexican food (about 5-6 samples). The food made me VOMIT the following morning (Note: I do NOT drink. I’m diabetic. All I had to drink was several glasses of water and 1 glass of soda with ice, the entire night. So I was not vomiting from intoxication. The fish did NOT agree with me). The food should be better. 4. MOST IMPORTANTLY… people get rowdy and a little out of control at the end of the night after drinking. There needs to be RULES and policies around DRINKING. When we got back to the bus at about 11 (the tour lasts about 5 hrs), several participants continued the party on board, when many of us were tired. They were loud, dancing in the aisles of the bus while it was moving, shouting, singing, turning music on on phones. It was a bit too much. The tour guide sat and said NOTHING, even when they shouted his name multiple times, to turn music on. It got a little rowdy. Something needs to be done to prevent the out of control drinking. Rules of conduct should be established around drinking, so no one gets hurt in the future and the tour company is not held legally liable. 5. Finally, the bus had at least 30 people on board and the a/c was not the best at times. We got back to our hotel at about 12:30am. With exception to the above things I mentioned, this tour is a fun experience if you are a sociable person, who enjoys meeting new people and having a good time.
