We had a great time! Everything was so Fun. The price for two is great there is a lot of activities. Our guide was awesome “crispy bacon” 😂 we love that it’s half day but there was still so much time to do stuff. Will recommend to others! And the tequila was great!
⭐ Disappointing Experience — VIP Was Not Worth It Unfortunately, this tour felt like one big money grab from beginning to end. We paid extra for the VIP experience, expecting the upgrades that were advertised, but we essentially received the exact same experience as everyone else. One of the biggest disappointments was the cenote. We were specifically told we would have an hour at the cenote, but we were only given about 15 minutes and were rushed the entire time. When we questioned it, the explanation suddenly changed to, “The hour is for the area, not actually in the cenote.” That was definitely not how it was originally explained to us. The ATV portion was also underwhelming. It was basically one big circle, it was extremely hot and uncomfortable, and there was no water available during the experience. For a tour involving ATVs, ziplining, and being outside in the Cancun heat, having water readily available should be a basic expectation. The VIP package was advertised as including unlimited drinks, water, food/snacks, and upgraded treatment, but we kept having to ask, “Where’s the water? Where are the drinks? Where are the snacks?” We didn’t receive any of that until the very end — at the same time everyone else did. The only noticeable “VIP” difference was a glass of champagne, which absolutely did not justify paying extra. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was the guide repeatedly asking us about tips: “So, no tips? Oh, no tips? Okay, no tips?” Tips should be based on the quality of the experience and service, not something guests are repeatedly pressured or guilted into giving. I’ve been to Cancun before and have done other excursions, so I do have something to compare this to. Xplor was definitely a much better experience. With so many ATV, cenote, and ziplining tours available in Cancun, I personally would not recommend this one. I guess you get what you pay for — but considering we specifically paid extra for VIP, I expected much more. The entire experience felt rushed, poorly organized, and focused more on getting additional money from guests than actually providing the experience that was advertised.
So much fun. Great for the family!
Staff was excellent n tequila tasting was very informative. Cenote was beautiful and zip lining was lots of fun

My husband and I had a ball celebrating my birthday. From the transportation to the hospitality, we enjoyed this excursion. We upgraded our packages once we arrive and it was well worth it. Please book :)

I’m giving this experience 2 stars because, while it was overall a fun day, there were several things that felt misleading and could have been communicated better beforehand. There was no notification that we would need eyewear or a face covering for the ATV portion, which involves a lot of dust and dirt. When we arrived, there was a large shop where we purchase these items, and they were not available to rent. Had we known ahead of time, we could have brought our own gear instead of purchasing items we likely won’t use again. Additionally, we were told we needed to rent a locker for our belongings, which felt frustrating since we were already expected to bring certain items with us. Better communication about what to bring and what additional costs to expect would have made the experience feel much more transparent. The staff also repeatedly pressured guests to tip, mentioning several times that they do not make a good living wage and that tips are very important. This was not just mentioned to our group, but seemed to be communicated to many of the groups at the facility. While I appreciate the hard work of the staff and understand the importance of tipping, the repeated reminders felt uncomfortable and took away from the experience. The activities themselves were enjoyable, but they were definitely geared toward beginners. The zip lining and ATV riding were fun, though not as thrilling or adventurous as I expected. The experience was very controlled, and the time spent in the cenote felt limited (around 15 minutes), which made it feel a bit rushed. We’re not allowed to have phones with us, and they take pictures of you the entire time. They even said it’s mandatory to have your pictures taken. Then they sell them for about $100 a package, with the prices going up depending on the package you want. Overall, I don’t regret doing this excursion because we still had a good time and made great memories. However, I would have appreciated more upfront information about required purchases, additional fees, and the level of adventure to better set expectations.
Hi Alique, thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re glad you were still able to enjoy the activities and make good memories during your visit. We’re sorry that the information regarding recommended gear, lockers, additional costs, tipping, photo packages, and activity times was not communicated as clearly as it should have been. We understand how this can affect expectations before arriving. Your comments are very valuable, and we will share them with the corresponding teams so these points can be reviewed and communicated more transparently to future visitors.

recently did an excursion that included ATV riding, zip-lining, swimming in a cenote, and tequila tasting." "While the activities themselves were decent, the overall experience was disappointing and not worth the price. Everything felt rushed and there seemed to be extra charges at every step". "The cenote swim was the biggest letdown. We were told we'd have 20 minutes, but it Honestly, felt like less than 15 before we were rushed out." "I also didn't appreciate that they took everyone's phones away, even if they were safely in water cases around our necks". "It felt like it was just to push their photo package, which cost around 80 dollars and was only available through AirDrop." "At the end, we actually ended up spending more time sitting through sales pitches than enjoying the activities. During lunch there was constant pressure to tip, buy bottles of tequila and purchase the photo package." "It felt like every stop was another chance to sell something instead of letting people just relax and enjoy." "Overall, the activities were decent, but the rushed schedule, constant upselling, and lack of time to enjoy each stop made it feel like poor value for money." "I wouldn't book this excursion again, and I'd recommend looking for another company if you're hoping for a more enjoyable and relaxed experience.
Hi Liony, we’re truly sorry that the rushed schedule, limited time at the cenote, and repeated sales offers affected your experience. We understand how this could make the visit feel less enjoyable and not worth the VIP upgrade. Phones are restricted during certain activities for safety and operational reasons; however, we regret that this was not communicated clearly. We would like to review your case and better understand what happened. Please contact us through our official channels with your reservation details so the corresponding team can follow up with you.
