Travel time already included in the total duration. In this castle we find elements of military architecture in the Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance styles, it was here that D. Gualdim Pais, Master of the Knights Templar founded the headquarters of the Order in Portugal in the 16th century. XII. You can also enjoy the most beautiful view over the city of Tomar.
The Convent of Christ is a repository of artistic styles, ranging from the 12th century to the end of the 18th century, having one of the most notable nuclei from the Manueline period. The castle was built in 1160 by D. Gualdim Pais, serving as a base for the Knights Templar in Portugal.
The Sanctuary of Fátima is one of the most important Marian sanctuaries in the world, a place of Christian pilgrimage and Catholic devotion. Here you will have time to visit the Little Chapel of Apparitions, the Prayer Area (outside), the Basilica of Nossa Senhora do Rosário and the respective Colonnade, the vast Basilica of the Santíssima Trindade.
