Immerse yourself in the rich history and vibrant culture of Tequila on this enticing tour from Guadalajara. Discover the agave fields from plantation to harvest and learn about the process of making tequila in a 100% agave artisan distillery, with entrance and tastings included. We will know about the history of the Town of Tequila aboard a barrel. Enjoy the heart of the Village of Tequila and its rich food, with free time to explore. We will finish with a good dance in Cantaritos El Guero #1, with live music. Departure from Guadalajara is at 11:00 for a full day of cultural exploration. You will have free time to enjoy the charming village, eat in the picturesque village (food not included) and buy unique souvenirs. The group is maximum 17 people for a more intimate and personalized experience.

Itinerary
We will learn here the history of this plant, its different stages until before it reaches the Tequila factories and the history about the beginnings of Tequila. Sometimes we have presentation of the Jima of the plant. Free time for photos in our landscape agavero world heritage of Mexico.
We will arrive at the Fabrica Tequilera to visit and get on a barrel-shaped truck that will take us to know the ancient area of the town of Tequila and visit the agave fields of the same factory where they will show us how they harvest the Agave.
We will go to the artisan factory where we will have tour within the same factory, we will pass through its production area, underground ripening cava and tasting room. We will have tasting of 100% agave Tequilas produced right here.
We will head to the heart of the Magic Town of Tequila where already with knowledge about the town, its emblematic drink and blue plant we will have free time to eat, walk, buy souvenirs and take pictures around the town.

The tour was very interesting, and we received super cordial and kind attention from José de Jesús. He was always helpful and took us to the most iconic places. I learned a lot about tequila, and the finale at Los Cantaritos was simply spectacular. ;)

Great experience, we had the best time and loved to see the more local/artisanal side of tequila. Everything was explained thoroughly and our tour guide was very knowledgeable. It ended up just being my partner and I for the tour but they still put in the same amount of effort for what they would probably do for a big group. We actually loved how intimate and personal it was. We got lucky!
