This tour was a bit too long. The second location could have been skipped, and we could have stayed at El Güero for an extra two hours instead.

Tequila Tour

A fun experiencing that takes you to Tres Mujeres distillery, the famous ‘El Guerro’, town of Amatitán, and Tequila (A Pueblo Mágico). Every stop is a chance to try tequila with history. Steven was an amazing guide for our Spanish speaking tour.

Awesome tour

This was a fantastic full-day trip that gives you more than enough bang for your buck! Francisco was an excellent guide, providing both English- and Spanish- language details about the history of the region and culture. Be prepared to drink a lot of tequila!!!

Tequila and Amatitán tour with friends.

The tour was spectacular; everything matched the description, the visit to the tequila distillery with plenty of tequila, the town of Tequila, and the cantaritos from the güero (more tequila). What I highlight most about this tour is the guide Antonio, who is very attentive and kind; in addition to making the tour enjoyable, he takes the time to explain things and ensure you are always comfortable.

A full day experiencing the sights, sounds, and flavors of Tequila

Overall, a full and mostly fun day. Group pick-up was straightforward because our guide Francisco communicated well on the timing, location, and appearance of the van. I would have appreciated receiving the license plate number as well, due to the large number of similar vans. The van was typical but a bit uncomfortable when completely full and some passengers were "over-sized". The A/C was appropriate but I found the cultural mood music way to loud to enjoy. The longest drive was around one hour, mostly due to routine heavy traffic within the city limits. The windows were all clean and it was easy to take in the great scenery of agave fields and distilleries. The tour of Tre Mujeres Distillery was perfect for observing the process up-close and in a classic setting. Tasting was adequate, without any high-pressure sales. The visit to the small town with it's ancient distillery, now a restaurant, was peaceful, without any crowds. The time in the small cantina and drinking from the barrel was fun. It would have been helpful to know exactly how long the stop would be in order to judge the number of additional drinks you should buy. The stop at Cantaritos Guero was the opportunity to try the classic cocktails and hear the live music. Most of our group of 16 seemed to enjoy it, but is was too loud for me and I prefer to taste the tequilas straight. The 90-minutes in the town of Tequila was barely enough time to take in the sights and grab some food. Most places were packed with tourists on a Saturday. Great for an overview though and to make a decision about any dedicated follow-up visit. The return journey was a bit more lively, with some passengers singing along to the loud music. The restroom break timing was just right. So, a lot for one day but the pace was OKAY and Francisco very informative in both Spanish and English. He did speak a bit rapidly for me but he did a great job keeping everyone where we needed to be and made it all enjoyable. A bit of history, culture, new friends, and of course, tequila. A memorable day.

Great day

Great tour, amazing guide, so much fun. Everything was very organized and still felt laid back. The tequila tastings were VERY generous and there were about 7 of them. Would do again!

Very fun tour—I highly recommend it! They should add some small fans to help the van’s AC and make it cooler

Needs improvement

It wasn’t the best tour , I done this tour before and it was great. The tour girl seems to be new . The young man who was a part of it didn’t know we were part of his group . Didn’t seem organized nor was it interesting. They cut corners for this tour so disappointing because my friends were first time seeing tequila.
