This tour was beautiful and informative. It was a delight and is right next to the Ursuline convent. Highly recommended!
I dont know how to fix this, but check ahead. I bought tickets, arrived on time, only to find the place closed for a private event. Padlocked and no one to talk to about the mixup. Not happy.
If you have ANY interest in the history of New Orleans and the French Quarter, you need to visit the Beauregard-Keyes House at 1113 Chartres Street to learn about the history of the house in relation to it’s surroundings. In addition, you get to learn about the transition of the ownership of the house, and the plight of the house under different owners through the years.
They were not open for the day and time they sold us tickets. Avoid, pick something else to do in New Orleans… anything else.
Good tour, not too long, but an hour well spent. Nice little garden, and a few antiques to see I'm the house. Guide was good and informative.
