What a great tour, our...

What a great tour, our tour guide personalized the tour for us and the other couple on the tour as we had both previously seen some of the sights the day before. I thought the golf cart was such an easy and enjoyable way to see the sights of Rome in a short period of time! Would recommend to friends.

Quick fun way to get familiar with Rome

Excellent quick way to get a look at many of Rome’s highlights and the general layout. Using the hills provided great vistas. Your driver was very knowledgeable and humorous as well. He adjusted the tour depending on traffic and the riders ‘ interests

Ended up with a nice Italian couple that did not speak English. (This was not noted as a possibility when booking at $100 plus per person). Most of the tour was in Italian with side conversations. My family was facing the rear and the guide did not indicate what he was describing or where to look; I asked him to indicate.more than once. Monuments seemed to be mostly on the left side so picture ops were difficult on pass bys. The gold cart part was enjoyable; lots of small roadways/allys. The guide seemed well versed on his history,

Terrible /bad service- no show / told to wait for nobody

What a joke! Paid, showed up early. They told my friend to get on one cart and said there was no room for me as they were extra busy. - drivers argued loudly … said they had to go and another cart would come by guaranteed to pick us up and just wait. waited with another person and her grandmother… wasted 2 hours waiting in the hot sun for nothing’ . No other cart arrived. I specifically booked this cart tour over others. I’m so angry, dissatisfied and disappointed. One afternoon in Rome wasted!

Operator response

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your frustration. However, we would like to clarify that guest allocation and vehicle management are coordinated according to operational requirements, capacity limits, and safety regulations. The description provided appears to be based on a specific coordination issue rather than the tour experience itself. Statements such as “no show” do not accurately reflect a situation where guests were actively interacting with staff and operational personnel at the departure point. We also note that references to internal discussions between drivers are personal observations and do not necessarily represent the full operational context of the situation. While we understand your disappointment, particularly given the limited time available during your stay in Rome, the characterization of the event as a complete abandonment of service does not reflect the complexity of real-time operational logistics. Kind regards, Luxurbe Team
