Description

Jack and Rose’s story isn’t done. It’s Dion. From a basement Off-Broadway to an international phenomenon, Titaníque sails onto Broadway for its grandest voyage yet. Winner of the Olivier Award for Best New Comedy, this global splash hit reimagines Jack and Rose’s timeless love story aboard the ship of dreams through the French-Canadian eyes of someone who was totally there: Céline Dion! (Not the real Céline — but she would approve.) The superstar singer remembers the doomed romance with more shocking twists, mega-diva antics, and face-melting vocals belting her favorite hit songs – and not even an iceberg can stop her. Crazy times call for a kooky krazy musical extravaganza. With a story you’ll never let go, music you know by heart, and the Céline you need, you’d have to live at the bottom of the ocean to miss this strictly limited engagement.

Celine Dion was on the Titanic

FUN show especially if you grew up with the Titanic movie from the 90s. It just kept getting funnier and funnier as the show progressed. I would see it again.

Super offensive!

Was so excited to see a musical in NYC and though the cast was super talented the subject matter was extremely offensive. So much gay humor that border lined on vulgar. The sexual content was not just innuendo but explicit. I do not recommend this show! So disappointed!

A Tribute to Celine Dion? YES in a fun way

I loved this musical/comedy show/burlesque. It was everything, all rolled into one. Based on the premise that Celine Dion was actually Rose. We watched the movie 'Titanic' to refresh our memories, since the last time I saw it was 1997. So glad we did. The references and parody to the movie would have been missed. Great Music and lots of gay fun and sexual jokes. Know this before you see it. Otherwise, it was a great time. Beware when you buy your tickets. DO NOT sit in the balcony, unless it is the first three rows. The staging is terrible, and most of the (Pivotal parts) play take place in the very front of the stage. We could not see half of the play. It was more like a podcast as we just listened. This is something that the director/stage manager can fix immediately. And needs to be!

Titanique on Broadway

We saw the show last night. The singing was excellent, but the gratuitous use of profanity was pretty disappointing. Jim Parsons was mediocre at best. The use of a dildo as a prop was disgusting and unnecessary. It is definitely not a show you would take a 12 year old to.

My vote for Tony Award for best musical

There are limited shows available for Monday night theater. We had a choice of The Great Gatsby, Heathers and Titanique that were all shows we had not seen before. We picked Titanique and that was an excellent choice. This was a laugh a minute show more in the vein of a comedy club than a Broadway musical. However, it did both comedy and music very well. Some of the comedy was a little risque for younger audiences.

Go see Titanique!!

Hilarious! Lots of innuendo. Not for those under 18. Great singing and dancing. It's a bit like a drag show without the drag. If you like bawdy humor, this is for you.
