They can also admire the Sacré-Cœur basilica in the emblematic Montmartre district, the La Défense business district and its skyscrapers, the golden dome of Les Invalides, the colonnaded dome of the Panthéon, but also the towers of Notre-Dame cathedral in the distance, the great Tour Montparnasse, and the Centre Georges Pompidou.

After a lengthy commute across Paris, we arrived to a sign on the office door advising the monument was closed for the day. No explanation. And no notice from the company that took our money. It's getting close to 24 hours since I emailed to advise of the issue, but no contact from anyone besides what I presume is an automated text asking for a review of our experience. 😆😆😆🤪

The Arc de Triomphe is an imposing monument set in the craziest roundabout in Paris. It’s an absolute must when you visit. We chose to go to the top, 284 steps later (and one or two stops) we made it. The views are spectacular and well worth the climb. Definitely a tick off the bucket list.
