Itinerary
Your private tour guide will take your private group up for a full day of World War II history, with an emphasis on the American soldiers who fought to protect the Allies and their people. You will visit important sites such as the ones that follow.
Your day continues with a visit to Pointe du Hoc, one of the most dramatic sites of the Normandy landings. Perched on a 100-foot cliff overlooking the English Channel, this position was heroically scaled by U.S. Army Rangers under heavy enemy fire. As you walk among the bomb craters and remnants of German bunkers, your guide will bring to life the extraordinary courage and determination that defined this mission.
Leaving Pointe du Hoc, you'll continue your drive to Omaha Beach, the site of one of the most pivotal events of World War II. Here, you will stand on the sands where 2,400 American soldiers lost their lives on D-Day in the fight to secure a beachhead stretching nearly 5 miles, from Port-en-Bessin to the Vire River, ultimately linking up with the British landings at Gold Beach and the American forces at Utah Beach. Your guide will share the powerful history of Omaha Beach before leaving you free time to reflect and pay tribute to those who fought against the German 352nd Infantry Division.
Your journey then takes you to the Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer, the resting place of nearly 9,400 U.S. soldiers. Stroll among the perfectly aligned white crosses, visit the Memorial, the Wall of the Missing, and the chapel. This solemn and peaceful site is an enduring reminder of the cost of freedom.
Leaving the American Cemetery, you'll sit back and relax as you drive to Arromanches, where you will see the remains of the artificial harbor (Mulberry Bridge), a key engineering achievement that played a decisive role in the success of the D-Day landings.

Julien was a great guide. Very knowledgeable, friendly, paced the trip perfectly. The sites were busy but not too crowded, lunch was amazing & we had the experience we were hoping for. Saw a lot, learned a lot - very glad we went.
We had an excellent trip. Our guide had an excellent plan in place to see the important sites and he explained them very well. He also recommended a local restaurant for lunch that was delicious and affordable. He customized the trip to our interests. It is a long day, but absolutely worth it.
Great trip. Carlos our tour guide was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend.
This trip was incredible. The van was comfortable and clean. The service was efficient. The countryside and beaches of Normandy were beautiful. The physical experience of visiting a place we had read about in history books was very meaningful. Best of all, our guide, Rayan, was absolutely wonderful. He was so knowledgeable about the history of D-Day and answered all of our questions. He also gave suggestions for a delicious lunch. We highly recommend using this service and look forward to seeing Rayan again one day.
This was a great experience. Very moving and our driver, Ryan, was knowledgeable and friendly. He told us things that we didn’t know. He showed us many things that we wouldn’t have even known to look for. We could not have asked for a better guide!
Our driver was Lucille - we cannot say enough good things about our experience in Normandy-we met her promptly at 7 am in Paris. Her knowledge of World War history was amazing - we learned so much from her . and not to mention her perfect driving skills in such a congested city.. The day was absolutely perfect… Hoping to meet with her again on a future tour ! Thank you
Our guide, Ryan, was outstanding! Very knowledgeable and engaging. Very curious about our country and experiences. The sacrifices made at Normandy for freedom by many countries was very humbling. Try to hire Ryan!
I truly incredible experience. I don't think anyone can really understand how terrible war is until you stand at the top of the cemetery and look at the graves of almost ten thousand men who gave everything so I did not have to grow up speaking German. Our guide was really wonderful and extremely knowledgeable. He made the entire trip great.
Worth every dollar. Great personalized service and a tour that operates on your schedule. Our guide was very knowledgeable and attune to our wishes. He adjusted the order of events to best avoid crowds and busy times to give us the best experience
A fantastic experience from start to finish. Fabrice is a great guy, knowledgeable and very friendly. We even saw Bayeaux on the way back. Great to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel.
