Great guide (jill) telling us interesting history as we walked to and from food places and was very friendly and talkative making us all fell comfortable, creating a great atomosphere. Unsure whether the amount of food we had was worth the money but 5/6 places we went to were lovely and will go there again in the future. Wine tasting and gelato were my personal fav highlights.
Amazing tour. Wonderful history of the town and a virtual ‘ tasting menu’ of 7 dishes cooked beautifully by brilliant chefs sharing their passion and ethical stance with local products. Simone , our guide was fantastic. We really had a fabulous 3 hours with her, lots of stops , time to sit down and enjoy Brighton at its best. Great value for money.
What a fantastic way to see the best of Brighton, learn some interesting facts and eat loads of high quality food! Different flavours and styles all supporting ethical local traders and suppliers. Simone was amazing. She made the tour. Brilliant fun company and such a pleasure to spend time with. Great to hear about the way many of the brilliant shops had started their food supply journeys and the passion that keeps them trading.
Absolutely superb evening - I did it as a private event for a work trip with clients and it worked perfectly, a great informal evening, allowing everyone to mingle / sit next to different people each course, lovely food and the guides were exceptional. We'll never book a restaurant again, and the price was pretty similar too. 10 out of 10, 5 out of 5, 100%, whatever the metric is was perfect! :-)
What a wonderful review! Thank you so much for your feedback 🙏
Great fun. We have done many food tours while on holiday so decided to try a local one for a friend’s birhtday. Visited several places that we had never seen before despite being regular visitors to Brighton. Also learnt a few interesting fact about Brighton’s history. We tried bagels, taco’s, burgers, sausage rolls, vegetarian fish and chips and ice cream so plenty of food to try. Max was a great host, relaxed and chatty. Would recommend.
Thank you for the lovely review! We are so pleased you had a great time.
Really enjoyed this food tour. Hannah was informative, the shops, cafes and restaurants we visited were friendly, passionate about what they did and, most importantly, the food was yummy. A good mix of different establishments. I’ll definitely be going back to one of the restaurants when next in Brighton, and returned at the end of yesterday’s tour to a shop to stock up on goodies.
That's what we like to hear! Return footfall for our local independent vendors is what we are all about. Thank you for leaving the lovely review. It is much appreciated!
I am a Brighton local (of 22 years) and discovered places that I have never eaten in and will definitely return to! And there was an accompanying history lesson which had some fun facts that I didn’t know as well. It was a very very pleasant way to spend three hours. I thoroughly recommend this tour.
Thank you so much for your review. We love it when we surprise locals as well as visitors!
Brilliant…a chance to meet some of Brighton’s brilliant ( and knowledgeable and effervescent) independent food producers under the expert guidance of Emily and Meredith.. Thoroughly recommended
What a lovely review! Thank you for taking the time to post it and recommend us.
Great food and drink your. Some fantastic venues and a friendly knowledgable guide - Ashley.
So pleased you enjoyed our tour. Thanks you so much for taking the time to review us.
My husband and I signed up for the tour having done food tours with another company and thoroughly enjoying them. This tour was no different! Jill was our guide around the city and she was super friendly and very knowledgable about Brighton and its food scene. She was able to give us lots of tips on places to go which was really helpful on our first time in Brighton. All of the food was excellent, particular highlights were the mole taco and the burger from Burger Brothers. I would highly recommend doing this tour, especially if it is your first time in Brighton. Although some people on our tour lived in the city and still found lots of new spots they hadn’t heard of!
Thanks Kate for such a lovely review - we are so pleased you had a great time - we love to surprise locals and visitors alike!
